To answer the question at the end: My KZbin Gaming Recap 2024 said I watched 61% more BLG than the average viewer and was in the top 1%. I’ll be honest I’ve been working through all of y’all’s playlists slowly but surely, right now I’m on episode 31 of your Pokemon Scarlet playthrough. So yeah! I’ll do that!

don't worry Ian, I also had issues with the gears oh that's not a sun, the radiance just went on vacation honestly yeah, thank god the ttyd partners have great designs cause most of them get completely shafted from the story after their introduction Mowz' ability was used 8 times this episode, making for 72 total (onscreen) uses

13:26 Right, that's one of my few gripes with TTYD's story. The partners should have been more involved in the story, including after their major arc. Not necessarily a spotlight role, but more than color dialogue and battle utility. I suppose that would be very complicated to deal with, at least if you want to always have all 6/7 partners available at your fingertips.

I'd heard the chapter 6 battle theme went wild, good to know that's true. Ian confidently going "got it" then immediately mistiming the jump had me laughing instantly. I've said it before, but the platforming in this game is Not Good. Like, these gears are a neat setup, but the game itself is just not designed for platforming. Ooh, this music in the outdoors area is really cool, too! B-I-N-G-O! I didn't notice before, but here in the remake, even the Crystal Stars adhere to the paper motif, with that shiny foil paper stuff. I kind of miss how clearly they broke from the look of the rest of the game in the original, made them seem more special. I felt like the game was throwing Thunder Rages at you, it must have been to use them against the spiky parabuzzies. Don't think the original had quite so many of them around here? I'm not sure that threat works when there hasn't been a Luigi's Mansion 2 video for almost 2 months. That said, I guess I'll go rewatch Ian's absurd first attempt at P5 in Hollow Knight. Nearly winning that gauntlet first try is the kind of utter nonsense that needs to be seen multiple times.

Chapter 6 is the fan-favorite battle theme. Not mine (I much prefer chapter 7's), but I can definitely see why. The main thing I like about this location is the brand new Riverside Station Premises theme. It feels like a more chill version of Marmalade Valley from Color Splash.

The "I got it" jump into the pit had me howling and choking, and needs to be a BLG short. Thinking about it, is that idea still a thing in the works? Ian doesn't hate when other people are right. He just hates when he is wrong. ;p And on that note...the Milky Way is the galaxy that contains our solar system. Not that it really matters much in our day to day life.

Welp KZbin ate my comment so let's try again! I think the wanted poster looks more like Kooper (PM64 partner) because of the scarf. You might be struggling more with the platforming because this game is a lot more stiff than Brothership. The fog is a 50% chance to miss and you missed 8 out of 9 times for a 1.95% chance. (According to Omnicalculator, I forget how to do the math so I can't verify it.) Since you had such terrible luck here's a tip, you can use Bobbery to remove the fog. In the original game the fog would cover the whole stage so everyone would have a 50% chance to miss until the effect disappeared. Since my comment disappeared into the aether this was the episode I watched afterwards. (RIP Luigi's Mansion, the game series that seemingly never stood a chance.)
