Timing your liver shots with your opponents breath is some seriously next level shit. Bas is the all time leader in MMA of ending fights due to liver shots. It's probably because of the open palm rules of pancrese, but Bas has eaten more livers than Hannibal Lecter.

I'm 6'4" 250lbs and was sparing with a stronger shorter guy so I used the double jab method and that was the lesson I learned about seeing flashes of light. The boy got me just exactly like he said.
