That D6 starting so easy, what a fine machine. Great compression, made in America perfection. If it were an enclosed cabin would make it even better. This site is really filling your days Chris, thanks for letting us tag along.

I think the D6D was the overall best of Cat's small utility dozers that were easy to haul. As a Cat Engineer, I think the Hi-drive D6 compromised this tractor---at least until the diff steer was offered. Diff steer was a game changer.

Yeah Chris, You can tell it's kind of awkward to grab with that 350 Grapple !! From the side view, It Looks like ya have to go High with the boom, and kind of stick in at the same time as your coming back into the pile, and grab it ?? If that makes sense ?? lolol... But, like you said, it does grab one hell of a bite !! It does look nice, when your able to knock down a Big tree like that and pick it up and move it to the pile like that !! Yep, going to really start looking nice after you get done with the finish dozer on it !! Great as always, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!

If you put the stumps roots up onto the burn pile, maybe they'll burn better. Instead of trying to burn through the dirt first. Just a suggestion. Love your channel.
@johnaikema10554 ай бұрын
using the 220 for sorting through the vast majority of burnt down fires is definitely best. the 220 is quicker and costs less to operate per hr for said task. for re-stacking and restocking of bigger fires the 300 series with the rake is more viable economically. every tool has its purpose, well used in this case.

But he's getting real value by having someone such as Chris do the work effectively, efficiently etc ,worth every 50 cents he pays him ,and maybe the customer has to tend to other businesses which gives him the returns to pay others, himself doing the job would cost him dearly!
