I loved this studio so much. Classic talk show vibe of the 70’s & 80’s. I went to one of the airings back in 85’ then twice to Sullivan theater. Miss ya Dave

Amazing how she only made 3 movies over 3 years from 1984 to 1986 that were successful but she remains well-known and iconic just for that work. The power of John Hughes.

Relevant Interview bits from an Atlantic interview in 2010 Interview- When you looked at the cover of Time with your face on it, whom did you see looking back at you? Molly- All I could think was that my hair looked overly processed. To me, it was just another cover. Interview- But it was Time, America's oldest newsmagazine. Molly- I had just turned 18. The cover I was really excited about was Seventeen magazine. To me, it was much bigger than Time. Seventeen was where I wanted to be.

Wrong. She continued to act in movies in Europe speaking fluent French and did a sitcom called “Townies” which ran for 2 seasons on NBC. She later did “Secret Life Of An American Teenager” and went on to become an author and continues to do movies and TV.

@@JD-jc8gp She had her stardom early in life and has maintained that to this day. She may not be in anything as iconic today as her earlier films, but Molly Ringwald is a star known globally.

@@angelarasmussen1800 Yes. I have interacted with her on social media a few times and she is a self-professed introvert, but has always been gracious and kind to me and others. She loves her family and I think she’s happier now than she’s ever been.
