I hope you’re feeling better. I understand what you felt. I too had intense pain on my left side, especially with increased intra-abdominal pressure from coughing or sneezing. Otherwise, I feel good. I have been having a low-grade temp. My highest temperature was 100.7. This morning, my temperature was back down to 99.1. There is something such as having a fever from tissue trauma. This can make things confusing. My incision looks healthy and I’m not having any other concerning symptoms. I had my surgery on 8/7 and now am 1 week post-op. 😊. Thank you for your post. Makes me feel normal.

Hi there. I’m 35 with 3 boys…2 c-sections and 1 unexpected yet successful v-bac. My tubes were tied after baby boy number 3 but my cycles have been horrible. I had multiple fibroids so my doctor and I decided it was best for me to get a partial hysterectomy. My surgery was this past Friday and it went well. I still have my ovaries. I am now home and the pressure that comes along with peeing is horrible. I haven’t made a bowl movement yet so I was just curious as to how long it might take before I go. I have been resting but I can’t sit for long periods of time, so I walk around my kitchen island a few times every couple of hours. I have been researching people’s recovery journey and just taking notes. I appreciate your video.

I also was referred to a urologist who has pelvic floor therapy but they do not have any openings until the last week of August. Today is May 30th. I will be looking at your channel for any pelvic exercises I can start at home before my end of August appointment. My surgery was May 10th so I can't do any exercises that engage my core for 3 more weeks, but after that I am cleared to work out. Which of your videos would be a good starting point for me?

Very glad to have found your channel. I'm having a hysterectomy with salpingo oophorectomy in 2 weeks and I'm terrified. Not only of the surgery (its at Harper Uni DMC teaching hospital 😭which is purported to be a very dirty hospital) but of the after effects.. like the nightmare I keep having that Im walking thru the grocery store and my vaginal cuff tears and my guts fall to the floor while everyone stands there and watches (no idea where my pants are in this scenario) So.. I'm glad to have found your channel on pelvic floor exercises and such.

@@Bujji0423 I havent had it yet.. not til the 12th. Ive dug up a lot of research.. some I wish i didnt know.. but as you know harper is a teaching hospital.. so there wil be students in the room. at the discretion of the surgeon, they can do pelvic and rectal exams on you. Its supposed to be by consent only in michigan but it was just passed in april so I dont know if they actually follow it.. Im going to request that its senior personnel only during my surgery.. No students. one of the videos i found is titled 'Medical Student Expected to Perform Pelvic Exams on 100 Anesthetized Patients While on Rotation' on this platform. u can also search ' students speak out against pelvic exams anesthesia' Im sorry if this scares you.. but in my opinion its a horrible practice and the more that know about it, the better. Do you agree that a 6 month double drip chemo every 3 weeks for 6 hours on the drip, is correct after a stage 2 ovarian cancer that had spread hysterectomy? They think they cut out all the cancer... But i'm more scared of the chemo as it damages other organs and lungs, and you can die from.that anyway. What is the very best thing to do please.🙏🙏🙏 I cannot afford to make a mistake. I have huge responsibilities, 8 children, no one to take care of anything, also the only breadwinner, i'm desperate please advice🙏🙏🙏
@dr.dawnhealthypelvis6 ай бұрын
I'm truly sorry to hear about your situation, and I can understand how overwhelming it must be for you right now. The best course of action is to consult directly with your oncologist or medical team, as they know the specifics of your case and can provide tailored advice. They can explain why they recommend this particular treatment plan and help address your concerns about chemotherapy side effects. It's also beneficial to seek a second opinion from another oncologist to ensure you're making the most informed decision possible. Additionally, discussing with a patient advocate or counselor might provide some support in managing both your treatment and responsibilities. Your health is paramount, especially given your role as the sole caregiver and breadwinner for your family. Ensure you have a support system in place, whether it's through friends, family, or community resources, to help you through this challenging time. Stay strong and seek out all the professional guidance available to you and when they know your full history. 🙏💖
