350 variant, that is. Not the biggest fan of the F-Sport trim, I prefer the standard luxury and would look for an example with the 17" alloys for a smoother ride quality.

I've been searching for a 2016 IS300 AWD for the past little while. Car prices have been a bit high so i'm just waiting out.

How's the fuel consumption on the 350 engine?

Yeah that's a fair point and one that I mistakenly left out! I have another video which has my opinion on the engine models: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYWaq6qOerqCaMU averaged around 10k/100L (24ish mpg). The IS 250 is incredibly similar, hence why it's worth just getting the 350 if you can. I would say get the 300h for economy, get the 350 for power. I wouldn't personally go for the 200t or 250, unless there was some incredible deal on one of those cars.

I have an 11 GS 350 AWD and if I drive like an old man I've seen 25Mpg 50/50 driving. 22 is very doable in normal driving, keep tires inflated a pound or two above. And it is a heavier car. Only get the 350, the 250 isn't a great engine. I mean, it's not junk but there are carbon buildup issues which can be a problem even if maintained. The 350 powertrain is as good as you will ever get in a used car. Something very similar is still used to this day in the Tacoma.

We just bought RX400h 2008 year, 91000km milage - such a time capsule. The question arose in our family to change our existing IS300h 2013 110000km milage for CT200h 2018 45000km milage, just to have a newer car with Lexus Relax warranty, and couple of modern safety features. How you rate them being an longterm user, how much cheaper is to have CT over IS (in % maybe?)? How you rate overall love to drive one car or another? I did a testdrive of CT recently and found that is much less comfortable than IS, which, in turn, lags far behind from RX flagship. Thanks a lot, bro!

People always get confused on this. 2013 is the Model year. The production year is slightly different. This model is from 2013, it's registered under 2013 but if you search for 2013 Lexus IS, you'll see mostly 3rd gen but some 2nd gen as there are usually a few more 2012 model year's produced in 2013. The 2nd gen sedan's last model year is 2012. However the IS F and IS C went to a 2014 model year.
