@@tesma-m7 surprisingly very little, I upgraded to a 24 500h by trading in my 2022 rx 450h f sport, its night and day difference. Finally Lexus made an RX that is actually fun to drive. Don't get me wrong there is still a bit of body roll but they vastly improved the AVS and the rear wheel steering is a game changer. Just wish the degrees the wheels turn at is higher and less front wheel bias on stop and go acceleration.

It also have like a engine break, awesome vehicle. There is a lot of stuff that I don't use, just drive and go, I take mine in for service, and they gave me a Rx.500h 2024. Not even a flat tire!

Nice review. Will probably be buying one this spring 2025. I really do wish however that lexus just make a really good 6 cycl turbo and put the 4 cyl to bed. It’s not great. Then all their RX lines would simply blow an x5 out of water in terms of fit finish and depreciation value. Trump won. We don’t need to be driving around in 4 cyl turbos that are straining anymore.

the new Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve will kill this lexus in seconds for less $$. its got the trusted 3.6L v6 engine (been around for many years) that is more reliable than the 4 piston turbo. now add the electric motors its going to make it very complex. trust me you dont want complicated engines that are pushed to their limit to create higher output. the lexus engine is really cheaply made you have to take really good care of it. you can afford to miss an oil change or two on the summit trusted engine. the summit reserve is much more luxury than the new RX. please go and have a look. The new RX interior is outdated. really ugly and cheaper materials in my opinion. the Summit has the massage seats! more adjustment for confirm. Summit comes with Night vision RX doesn't have, no lexus has night vision! this is very useful for detecting animals and pedestrians at night. it has far better autonomous capability. better head up display, better LCD screens and its got an additional co-pilot display where the passenger can pass map info to the driver or watch movie. the seats are way more comfortable summit. the back end of the luxus is very ugly. cargo space is very small. where is the exhaust? if you find it let me know. luxus has bad towing capacity. the grand cherokee has air suspension. you can adjust its ground clearance, true 4x4 capability. underneath the cherokee has stronger frame, beefer control arms and its much heaver. the lexus will be distorted on a dirt road. I say all of these because I think Lexus really needs to up their game and update their vehicles. for those of you reading this i hope you go and have a look at the summit reserve and the lexus 500h fully loaded and then tell which one is luxury!

The Cherokee is a nice vehicle as long as you don’t plan to keep it long term because if so you’ll be enjoying all that fancy stuff from a seat in the repair shop because that’s where Cherokees have always ended up.

Just so everyone will know, the steering wheel buttons are a NIGHTMARE. Watch ANY review of this car, and you'll hear it mentioned. Of course I learned how to use them in mine. I can also learn how to walk to the store backwards - except that's a stupid way to do it. You have to touch the buttons to wake them up, then try and remember where the function you want is, touch the correct button, toggle to the next page, go up or down, all while DRIVING. It's distracting, unnecessary, counterintuitive, and just plain stupid. Frankly, I don't know if I'd buy another Lexus if it was set up like this.

It's not hard for anyone with 2 brain cells to operate. Turn the HUD on and it will show you each command currently assigned to each button (which you can change might I add). 🤦‍♂️ I absolutely love my 24' RX500h.

Theres only one model for the PHEV and thats the RX450h+ luxury trim i believe. The RX500 is the F sport model. Its hybrid but not plug in
