Lovely.. f…ng lovely. But nothing worked as described for my new LG dishwasher. I finally managed to make the LG ap work on my iphone, but it took much more steps and it was far more complex than this cute production implies. The cell network and bluetooth has to be on. And of course the manual which came with the dishwasher is completely useless. It states that the cell network and bluetooth has to be off.

My dishwasher has smart diagnosis where the “tag” location is. When I select and hold delay start for 3 seconds like the app tells me to the dishwasher plays a little melody and then powers off in 5 seconds. I have tried for months. Please help. Our oven has connected perfectly, the dishwasher not so much.

Did anyone figure it out? The top of my dishwasher says "Smart Diagnosis" so there must be some way to connect. However, the "Delay Start" button doesn't say "* WiFi" like in the video, and holding the button down just counts down from 6 then turns off.

@@zants_ same thing happened to me. It means that your dishwasher only supports wifi diagnosis and you can't add your dishwasher to lg smart thin q app you can only diagnose it if there's something wrong with it.

Some of the options for the dishwasher in the app are greyed out. How can I adjust them if they are greyed out?

just bought one from the Box store, store display has all the 3 tags on it "ThinQ" "Smart Dia" &"Tag On" "Inverter Direct Drive" printed on top of the door. the one we got delivered only had "Smart Dia" & "LG" logo on top of the door(that didn't work either). has the same Quad wash the bottom & model is # as the one in the store. its a mix breed! We want What WE seen and Ordered! not Old Stock Half breed stuff!

@@LGUSASupport ah so that will help? After all 3 of us in the house has tried, deleted the app and redownloaded it, did the step and never shows up in WiFi, and you scan the QR code and it says “ product, not supported”!!!????

yeah this app does not work.. I can connect to my dishwasher from my own wifi settings so i know that wifi is working but when i use your app and try to find my dishwasher it can never connect and is incredibly annoying. It just keeps asking if the wifi is flashing which it is.. but never connects.

Your product requires a massive and well trained service department because it sucks and requires very highly skilled and well trained techs to fix it. I will not be buying any more LG products, ever. I'm embarrassed that I spent over $800 on a dishwasher that didn't make it to four years. I see why your warranties are only for a year. You would be out of business if they were any longer. Coincidentally, it was just after that year warranty that the display panel on my dishwasher stopped working.. Now, here is the problem and pay attention because this part is very important: I called and asked for a service tech. They told me it was a $300 minimum to have them service my $800+ dishwasher. That would have been painful to pay, but I already knew the display board costs $295. So, the service tech, who would doubtfully have one of these with them necessitating a second trip that I would need to add to the bill. So, $595 plus other charges, tax, fuel access fee, and whatever you want to add as legitimate and take from my pocket when I've already diagnosed your garbage as being garbage. The cost of a Bosch that has similar features but a higher service rating, better customer ratings, etc. - under $550. ***With a 2 year warranty that is double what LG offers. Other dishwashers less than the $595 minimum repair bill from LG: Frigidaire, Bosch had 3 models, GE, Samsung... Actually, I shouldn't complain. I should smile and say nothing and watch quietly as you lose customers and slide into obscurity as your company can't figure out why you have no customer loyalty and are going out of business. A complaint is an opportunity to improve and I shouldn't honour you with that since LG took a giant shit in my kitchen at my expense of about $1000 currently. Back in the day, we had a dishwasher that worked for 13 years of my childhood with a family of four who had a mother that cooked every meal. It didn't ever stop working either, but my mother remodeled the kitchen and it was working when it was replaced. That thought would probably destroy your marketing and engineering team and drive them to self injury and insanity.

Based on these comments, as well as the bad reviews on Google play, it seems this wifi connection feature needs a lot of work. Also unnecessary need for so much info regarding exact location, etc. I was going to download it for my new dishwasher but now I'm thinkin hard pass
