The BBC anchor shot so many accusations against China, but when it's turn for the Chinese ambassador to talk, he kept interrupting and switching subjects, to left little room for the Chinese ambassador to rebunk those false accusations. Seriously, before the ambassador had a chance to explain, he either interrupted or move to another accusation. It was not an interview, it was a judgement.

​@@siongtzer look mate, I get it it is HARD TALK, not sure what is your definition to have a HARD TALK, to me, HARD TALK should be - the host raises some sharp and hard question for his guest, and let them explain or express his/her opinion properly. But in this video, it is obvious that the program host has raised lots of questions but not give enough time for the guest to reply, also keep talking when the guest tries to explain or answer his question, and before the guest has replied to all his questions, he has through another question at the guest. This host is either lack of manner or he has a predetermined position when it is about China. Not sure about you mate, but I won't call this program HARD TALK, it should have a new name HARD CRITSIM, by the way, he does not need any guest, he will be fine just by himself since he likes to give a long speech.

西方的民主的表现形式就是投票，我们中国人思考了一番，认为投票并不能实现真正的民主，充其量只能实现狭义的民主。因为民主的核心是少数人服从多数人。投票只会形成相对的多数，比如投票结果 20：20：21 那么赢的21 只是相对多数，绝对上只是少数，这就实际上造成了多数人要服从少数人。这是民主追求的结果吗？再一个民主也无法消除腐败。腐败的本质是权钱交易，西方把这个交易合法化了，叫做政治捐款或者政治献金。在中国这种我给政客钱，政客帮我做对我有利的事就叫腐败。中国违法，西方合法。那么你说哪个制度对民众有利？中国人有自己的思维方式。有自己的价值观。西方发展的历史中充斥着对世界的剥削和压迫。所以我们想走适合自己的，不那么血腥的发展道路。现在中国发展有不错的成效，反倒他们遇到了问题。本来可以从中国身上找找解决方案，可西方人过于傲慢，过于自负，以至于真的相信自己的价值观包治百病。世界的话语权都在西方手里。他们什么时候好好听过中国人怎么想的。到底谁在洗脑。到底什么是自由？好好想想吧！

但是呢，我认为这个比例总比2952人代表14亿强🤣。开明专制我支持并且可以接受，因为效率高社会安定，这很好。但是扯淡的专制就算了。但是怎么保证一个专制者他不扯淡呢，那就只能引入反对党，接受传统西方民主（我觉得西方民主当然有很多缺点但目前是人类能做到最好的了，未来几十年也许会有更好的方式，我不知道）。因为有了监督后，一个领导人他想要继续掌权那就得击败对手，怎么击败对手？那就要在选票上超越对手，就得符合民意为人民做事啊。这就形成了一个良性竞争循环。

人性就是那样你不信不行，大部分人都是贪婪的。所以如果权力没有监督那就会很腐败很操蛋这是正常现象。所以为了长远的发展，必须要有政治监督，独立司法和反对党。如果做不到第三点那起码可以先学一学我们的邻国越南，加强国会对于政治监督的作用和推动司法独立。这些必须要做到，哪怕意味着经济发展变慢，哪怕意味着效率变低一段时间。It must happen, AT ALL COSTS.
