How would you compare this board to puddle jumper HP

Will this make for a good first shortboard if gotten at 6'0 36.6 ltr? For someone coming from a 6'8 41 ltr midlenght? Or too much of a step up? I can carve abd pump down the line hust fine, need something i can practice more agressive turns on but while still keeping paddle ability. Of should i look in puddle jumoeer HP?

I’d go even smaller, depending on you age and weight and athleticism

But the puddle jumper hp would be better option

Seems like Lib Tech doesn't really have a more performance option right now. If I get a travel board presumably it would be for better surf. The closest thing seems to be the Mason Ho model? But in the revies I've seen it still seems recommended as "small to medium" waves, easy paddle etc. It's not like I'm talking about barreling pipeline or whatever but just a lower volume thruster with maybe a bit more rocker for nicer waves. Or am I over analyzing this and these boards will do well in better surf?

the boards will still perform well in the bigger, more critical stuff. Whilst most boards in the range aren't specifically dedicated to pumping pumping waves, they'll still perform and be a board to rely on. The is the Sabotaj model, which works amazingly as a step-up , the rocket redux and rad ripper will still be boards to rely on in these conditions too.

QuiverKiller and SaboTaj are definitely high performance boards for high performance waves. Do check those out - they’re solid ✊

I use the quiver killer in anything from 2-3 foot top to bottom waves to 7 foot massive mushy long period waves. My favorite board
