Hey everyone Rho here! Today we're discussing the home of the Ultramarines, Macragge. And the Library of Ptolemy... the legacy of Roboute Guilliman to the Imperium.
Spoiler Warning to begin as today we will be referencing events from the Warhammer 40,000 novel "Courage and Honour" by author Graham McNeill. As always I really recommend you read the stories for yourself first without spoilers. As that's the best way to enjoy the lore for yourself first!

THE original Codex Astartes? I didn't know it still existed. Smart that the smurfs keep it under lock and key. I'm willing to bet one day Trayzyn the Chief Curator for the British Museum will make an attempt for it one day. Didn't he try to steal some relics from the Salamanders on Nocturne? If so, then all the more reason for me to think he will try at one point. His excuse might be, "Well, since the author is alive and back, you won't be needing these dusty old books anymore." Or worse, he might try to pokeball Guilliman himself too!

How is the British museum any worse than any other national museum? Most of the items were legally bought or salvaged under terms at the time or rescued from from the path of armies that were notorious for destroying culture artifacts, the ottomans in particular. Thousands of artifacts have been returned, only to be destroyed in the next local revolution like ISIS or as with mummies returned to Egypt they just didn't know how to look after them. Besides the nazis stole so many items that 100,000 are still unaccounted for even to this day.

What about wolves and thier sagas kept audibly and through psi indoctrination, they also keep a library of sorts as per the ragnar blackmaine novels, not on the same scal obviously. There's also the blood ravens (space magpies as per majorkill)

Hate to be a detractor here. Seems most peoope like this. Firstly, while watching this. I thought it would be crazy if the lion visited the arcanum to see what all this nonsense about the "codex" was... But, I've been critiquing Rho's videos a lot lately. Sorry Brother... But he fails to mention the events of God blight. Where Guilliman had the library closed due to all the incendiary information it housed. And, in the final moments of the book. The library has potentially burnt down. So again, not sure there was much point to this vid.

Wasn’t the book found by the inquisition or the Eclesearchy guy who was a remembrancer guy maybe ? I’m sure the book says the book was found that contained the herasy of Sanguineus being crowned emperor . I can’t remember what book exactly I’ve read over 200 now all seems a blur over the years .

The book was handed over to him personally by a chaos demon. The writers made it seem like it’s some damning evidence against Guilliman. But I don’t really see the big deal, Imperium Secundus was obviously a failsafe and never materialized. Guilliman wasn’t even the leader, they chose Sanguinius

@ZiGGi03 It's part of the plague wars series, and the dawn of fire series. It's Fabian that finds that book. He's one of Guilliman's new historiators/remembrancers. But ive always found the idea of Guilliman starting his mini empire back in the day a giant nothingburger. They've been trying to pimp that as a giant scandal for years. Even though it's a barely remembered footnote that no one cares about. Even though it involved three primarchs. Arguably, three of the best and brightest, and the reasoning was justified at the time. They were cut off by warp storms and thought the emperor/empire had fallen. There's literally zero scandal, I'm not sure why GW is insistent on playing that angle.
