I love your Sherlock Holmes story readings. Just commented on your Oscar Wilde ghost story video and will say again that the only problem I have is that I want so much to get to the end of the story, I fight off falling asleep!

Probably not very important, but I thought that some viewers of this video might be confused, and I would clear it up. In some editions, The Cardboard Box is included in the "His Last Bow" anthology instead of in the "Memoirs" anthology. This is because the story was withheld from further publication shortly after its original publication either because it was too gory or because of the sexual content (the exact details aren't clear). So the first British edition of "Memoirs" didn't have this story in it (the first American edition accidentally printed it in there anyway, but it was quickly replaced with a new edition without the story). It was eventually published in "His Last Bow." Incidentally, this also led to a butchered version of The Resident Patient that had Sherlock's "telepathy" trick tacked onto the beginning of it. Nowadays, depending on the publisher, the story will appear in either anthology, and you might get the same "telepathy" trick scene in two different stories within the same collection if the publisher didn't bother trying to track down the text of the original version of The Resident Patient. Kind of a confusing mess, but that's the story behind it.
