Hey Liezl, this is the second video of yours I’ve watched and I’m noticing an extraordinary amount of trolling negative comments here. Don’t be discouraged. You are helping so many people. Those who are for you will find you. In the meantime, thanks for the recipes!

Lil side tip for anyone who also buys carrots with the greens attached - you can save the greens, pop them in a food processor with olive oil, grated parmesan, a bit of nuts (I use walnuts), and some salt. Voila, you have a pesto! It's great on proteins, tossed in a pasta, etc., plus reduces food waste! ☺

I'm so glad I got back on the liezl train because I've been watching you for YEARS and somehow I wasn't seeing your videos for a long time and now I am again so I'm very happy I started watching you to relax but then I was learning so much about health and meal prep and now I watch you for both ! Your voice is so soothing I still love your South African accent

Hi Liezl. I’ve got a game changing hack that I use on all my green vegetables. It works particularly amazing with broccoli, green beans and kale. Cut up the broccoli into small pieces and put on a baking tray (or beans or kale) drizzle some olive oil over, salt pepper and garlic powder and then sprinkle over some nutritional yeast - it makes the veg taste cheesy and crispy! It’s so yummy!

The cannelini beans break down and thicken the soup because they were added early. If you prefer the beans whole, add them at the end. When they're from a can (or already soaked) all they really need to do is heat up.

I’m so glad I came across your channel again! I used to watch you a few years back and then I had some issues with my KZbin account. Resubscribed and going to binge watch some of your videos! It’s really lovely to see you are the same wonderful, calming Liezl that I remember! And love how inspiring you are to me, especially when getting in that meal funk, not knowing what to make or just eating crap food because I can’t be bothered to cook 🙈😂

Thank you so much for thoses recipes! It's so simple, easy and delicious to do 😍😍😍 But warning for the chicken breast.. To ensure that it's well cooked, simply insert the thermometer in the thickest part and read the temperature. If it's 165 F (74 C) and above = cooked chicken 👍🏼...if not, put it back in the oven 🍗... Why is this important? Bacterial infections (ex Salmonella). I wish you a Happy New Year ❤️❤️❤️

Happy New Year Liezl. Love ur recipes. Can we skip the coffee in the oatmeal and just add water? Also, I have noticed my salads go bad in 2-3 days max if I meal prep. I wanted to know what air fryer would you recommend? Many thanks 😊
@LiezlJayne2 күн бұрын
happy new year to you too! The coffee is the main flavor in the oatmeal, so I wouldn't skip it.. but if you dont like coffee you can try one of my other baked oatmeal recipes in these videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp7VoqCFotlll7s&ab_channel=LiezlJayneStrydom or kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3eZioOArMutfdU&ab_channel=LiezlJayneStrydom then for salads - you can try this thai peanut salad and keep the sauce on the side until you wanna eat it (in this video): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpebnYKogtiartE&ab_channel=LiezlJayneStrydom as for air fryer - I don't have an air fryer yet so I can't recommend one.. sorry :)
