It's great to see an update from you, Charity! I've missed you. I know you are very busy as a mom and entrepreneur. Have you ever considered filming inside of thrift stores, even if you don't purchase anything? You might could show particular items that are a good deal. Also, do you ever photograph pretty landscapes or seasonal scenes, like the changing leaves or fall porches in your area, etc? I would enjoy seeing your photos like that. I'm just trying to think of a few suggestions because I'm not the best at coming up with things to film either! Lol. I would enjoy seeing your grocery deals and your cooking videos...and maybe some of your thrifty ideas for Christmas gifts. Whatever you share, I know we will all enjoy watching it! ~Sherry

Hi Charity and sweet family! KZbin takes a lot of time and between KateLynn and your new business is probably all you can do at this point in time. I hope whatever you don’t stress yourself out. Seems you have a lot on your plate. I hope everyone has a very blessed day!

All of your videos have been great. You share information and help others in your videos. I love hauls, canning, meal plans, home resets, diy, etc… If you enjoy gardening, you can do container gardening for apartment living. How about more videos on crocheting? Christmas gifts would be lovely. No matter what, I’m here for it. ❤

It is great to see you on here again. Congrats to Collin! Can you do the Controversial parenting tag? It would be so fun to hear your thoughts on these issues.

I'm not exactly sure what that is. I'll have to look into it to see if it's something I want to do or not.

Oh no! Never work for free!! I understand video was newer to you but your time is valuable. Even if you charge minimum wage, it’s your time, your equipment being used, etc. It hurts everyone in the industry when someone works for free.

I know that working for free is controversial but I was more than happy to do it! I could be paying someone to learn instead I just took the opportunity to learn for free. It doesn't hurt anyone because I reached out a week before the wedding and they originally weren't going to have a videographer so it wasn't hurting anyone's business. I just have to make decisions for my business and myself that work for me.

If you made a few videos a week on KZbin could you make enough to help your little family?
@ALoopandAHook3 ай бұрын
When I was doing 3 videos a week I was making about $100 a month which really isn't much at all. If I continue to grow my channel I would begin to make more. Money isn't everything for me even though we do need it to live.

Charity I think learning some photo editing will make a huge difference in your photography. You do a great job with setting up poses and capturing a good moment, but I’ve noticed of the lighting isn’t exactly right, you don’t edit it to bring in the brightness or reduce shadows. Also some of the cropping is awkward. You should never cut off part of a head or a foot. There are certain lines that you should crop at when you aren’t doing a full body shot. Also editing could teach you how to remove some of the small but distracting things from the background like a stain on cement or flyers on the back wall of a church. Just something I have learned along the way that can hopefully help make you stand out on get the rest :)

I'm working on the editing and I do already edit them. It's hard because everyone's style is different and without shooting in the same place at the same time for every shoot there is going to be some level of variation. I'm actively learning and my pricing reflects that fact.
