It feels good to be back! We've been relatively quiet online for the last 6 months as we adapt to some major changes in our lives. After spending 3 months caravaning the Baja peninsula, we're getting back to building vans - but things look a little bit different this time around.
Follow along my van build series for the next few months as I convert a client van, and my own new van! Lots of exciting experiences to come as I transition to solo female vanlife and start a new chapter of my life. eQuariuz Your continued curiosity has me thinking you are a man. As a woman (and I think many women would agree with me) it is empowering to see other women engaging in “trades” like construction, wood working, electrical etc that have historically been done by men and in many vanlife channels, men continue to be the ones engaging in those tasks, with their female partners next to them as their “sidekicks”, taking direction. I enjoy seeing women who interrupt this narrative and are not only their own bosses, but have the knowledge and confidence to do their own thing, independent of a man.

I want my van!!!! But I have to sell my house 😂 and I find out that my little house cost more less the same or could be cheaper than the van 🙄 so maybe in my next life I am 50 now and solo too. But congratulations young lady, you look confident and strong keep working and take care! Great video!

I just bought a van last month. The wiring is something I’ve been putting off, but I can’t really continue my build any further until I do it. I would love to the know the wiring/wire covering you bought.

Congratulations on the new shop. Just an observation if you were to purchase four car dollies that fit under the tires you would be able to push/roll the van to the side allowing you to get two vans side-by-side. Perhaps a better use of your space

Ok so I'm here bc your video about building upper cabinets came up on my playlist and now I'm at this video but your attention to detail on the cabinets has convinced me I want you to do my van build - I haven't gotten the van yet and of course everything is delayed the past few months but I have IDEAS and I actually want to participate in the vanbuild for a couple of reasons - one I want to learn I have watched hundreds of not thousands of videos in the past 3 years of insomnia - taken notes on the features I want that are innovative and efficient and functional - and know exactly what I want and haven't seen a build like what I have in mind yet - another reason is because now that I'm seeing that you guys are broken up I think it would save time to have 2 people building at the same time obviously like you said you're spending months on these builds so I just think you'd be such a great partner. Would you ever consider doing a van build with the client like myself? I'm turning 40 next year and van life has been on my bucket list for the past 5 years and it's going to be my bday present to myself. please let me know if that's something you'd be open to so I can schedule my build with you for next year - thanks so much and it goes without saying you're so amazing!!!
