I needed to hear this, even if it’s 4 years later. I prayed to work in full-time ministry my whole life. I had such passion for God’s house. I’d even volunteer during the week consistently. After a few months of volunteering, the church hired me. Opening the offer letter was honestly such an amazing moment for me. Got led to this Sermon on THIS Day 1/1/24. I need to get things right with God and with Me. And I heard the Spirit of God tell Me, "...get back to Your First Love." I Believe God used those Words specifically to speak to My Heart in a way known only to Him and Me. I don't want to go another step without Him, My First Love, into another New Year. Lord, give Me the Grace I need to Love You MORE and to know You MORE. For Me, this isn't a "New Thing" - it's a "LOVE Thing." THANK YOU JESUS for talking to Me about what I NEED to do - FOR You.
