Yessssss, that bugs me more than anything! $40 for a meal ain't affordable unless you're feeding a LOT of people or want to have a tonne of leftovers. I don't mind putting the work in to make things that taste good, but when Gordon Ramsay says a dish that contains friggin fresh-caught crab or a dozen ingredients you've never even heard of is somehow "affordable," my only reaction is "yeah, because you're a millionaire, you corrugated English prick!"

My wife has been making olivya for several years, she got the recipe from a kind Slavic woman she worked with at one point. Recently saw your tip on crumbling the boiled eggs instead of cutting them. I think they move together because of money reasons... It is easier to pay everything when there is more than one person, one person may get ill, injured, lose a job(I don't think this would be a problem with programming though) and without monthly pay, your bills are getting delayed, you get into a debt and it is a snowball that is hard to break... So moving not alone (especially into another country) is much better choice

If you are extra sensitive to the heat and the blowing method doesn't feel right for you, there is an alternative. Use a wooden spoon with a long handle. Not only will your hand avoid the steam, but the spoon will not heat up and burn your hand, so you can stir for longer.

Hey Boris,I just remembered that we in Italy have the bay leaf liquor. It is fantastic and super easy to make. Just mix 90% alcool with the bay leaves, wait 2 weeks and then add water and sugar to reach about 40% alchol. Trust me, it is majestic.
