I got the exact same size burly bar for my Sportster 1200, it is a night and day the difference compared to the sliding butt-stopper like your honda one which I had on my Honda Shadow. My sportbike friends say it's not cool, but I am really into the classic cruiser style, it's definitely an acquired taste but it's definitely worth it.

Finally got too get my first ride on my 1100 yesterday here in upstate ny. I love the bike so much. I definitely like the look of the Honda one better. An I rode solo 90% of the time. I was wondering, is there a reason you didn't place the Thrashing saddlebag tie downs behind the Bar when installing? Sort of leaving them where you had them and placing the bar over them, thus removing the need for a washer? Putting them on the outside looks like they could be bent. I'm asking as I actually have the same set up coming in and figured you probably had a reason for doing it that way.

If it's okay with you and specially Nina, then go with it, I think it is a little bit too thin to match the overall look and the the angle of it doesn't match anything else on the bike.
