My daughter was born just before the first video I saw in this series. It was the cool floor insulation system you built. I got to watch progress every week as she grew in the NICU (born at 24 weeks gestation - 1 lb, 10.8 oz). Now she’s almost 13 months old, and healthy as can be! These videos were a welcome escape from the hospital setting for the five months we were there. I’ll never be able to truly express how thankful I am to you for that.

I’m in love with this guy. He knows what he is doing. I purchased a spec house in 1978 and there wasn’t a one board, joist or corner measured or secured properly. The electric boxes had no wires so no electricity and that is just the beginning. We had to tear most everything apart and redo the place. It took 15 years since we both worked. My interior is done with the exception of the wood siding on the walls but in the next couple months that will be complete. I agree with you that while it was work it was fun work building in the woods on our property for guests to stay in when visiting us. 23:06 I like that you can easily access the eaves and use the entire attic space. Very nice !

I watched all of your videos building this cabin. This one is a great video for anyone thinking of building a get-a-way and needs inspiration. I really enjoyed this one. and I still think you are a very detailed and meticulous builder. I’m in the process of building an outdoor kitchen next to my 16x20 cabin so I watching you 👉. Thanks, from Hells Canyon, Frank.

I thought this would be tedious to watch, but....NO! It was SO interesting! My X was a contractor, so I was familiar with a number of the products and processes in your video. My favorite two things: the wonky/wonderful small tree limbs that made up the "railing" for the loft and, especially, that you left all the walls unfinished. That very light wood is a wonderful contrast to the finishes put on the other areas and it also makes the inside seem more open and bright, too. Thanks a bunch!!🦌🦌

I liked your freestyle sanding at 47:19. It was just last week that I watched your hour long Ridge Cabin video, for the first time. So this compilation video just came out at the right time. 😊
