For example, 1:10 - You used the Chord Progression ( B- D- F#-A) , why not ( B- D#- F#-A#) as these notes are naturally in the scale? Same thing again at 1:20 - You used the Chord Progression ( F#-A-C#-E), why not ( F#-A#-C#-E) ? - Ten Gen

the melody has more vibes if you desharpen or sharpen some of the notes, even if they are out of the scale. Try using some off scale notes when making melodies, sometimes it sounds cooler and more original
