I'm stuck at step 2.5. The bolt (DXZ) and nut (BTS) wont fit into the holes at the end of the two little arms. The bolt will fit in but only up to the point where it becomes thicker . I'm sure I've got the arms in the correct place. Any ideas?

One thing you could try is using the threads on the bolt to ream out the excess powder coating in the hole. If that doesn't work, please contact our Customer Service Department. Our Customer Service Team can be reached at 800-225-3865 opt. 1 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).

How high can the hoop get?
@LifetimeProductsAssembly9 ай бұрын
This hoop can be adjusted to 7.5' - 10'.

Did you say how to assemble it to be at 10 ft regulation height? I missed it. 😪
@LifetimeProductsAssembly Жыл бұрын
Once fully assembled your system should be 10’ when you adjust it. You can use this video to help you adjust the basketball hoop. kzbin.infoUgkxOsvzJLBOAbxTlf_4Bz9gWYsiYof1HnRA

6th hole down. You can't just adjust and crank upwards/downwards. Need to actually unbolt the assembly, reset, then rebolt. Incredibly inefficient and made even harder when the screw you get isn't milled correctly and doesn't even thread into the bolt. At least hardware store is close by to get a replacement screw. Ditched the knob since it's completely illogical for that part to even exist - very difficult to thread the screw through the knob with nothing to grip the screw. That being said, this is an excellent video and very informative. Extremely straightforward.

@@kenthuth5020 Very similar hassle situation with our assembly. It looks easy to adjust, yet once you unbolt the assembly and rebolt, the screw is just a little off, making it that much more difficult the next time. Because of that slight warp, the screw gets jammed, doesn't sit flush, goes in at a wonky angle. After much torque-driven hemming and hawing with the screw that I was worried was becoming stripped in the process, I used some WD-40 helped ease it once more to finally stay firm -- though not without a lot of trepidation on the sturdiness of it. With luck, it will hold up the way it's supposed to but you better believe I won't ever try and adjust the height of this rim ever again. This whole palaver could've been avoided if in this video (or the instruction manual(, he mentioned the DIFFERENT HEIGHTS with each hole. In the vid, he puts it on the 3rd bolt with no explanation and the rim is not regulation height, when it would've been easy to call them out w/the graphic next to each and would've saved us lots of time.

My model number isn't even remotely similar, what am I supposed to do? It is the Procourt system but completely different model number, 90040
@LifetimeProductsAssembly11 ай бұрын
This video is for model number 1269. For an assembly video is 90040 you can scan the QR code found in the instruction manual that will direct you to a BUILT app to see a 3D video of the assembly.

You say don’t move the base until it’s filled with sand then the very next step (3.2) the base is flipped around. Do I put the sand in before step 3.2 ??
@LifetimeProductsAssembly9 ай бұрын
You don't fill the base until the end of the assembly, step 4.2. You can move the hoop, but we were saying not to stand the hoop up until the base is full, to prevent any injury or damage.
