Love it thank you for sharing! My first Subaru was a 1984 Touring Wagon; it had adjustable suspension. There was a single screw under the rear seat that was wound up using the tire iron, and I think from memory 4 screws attached to the front struts. It was about a 20 minute job to raise and lower it 2", which was great when I went offroading in it.

I just did this near exact build but with a 2012 Impreza base model - didn't need to get the lower A-arms and got the rear camber within spec after alignment at a shop. I bought PRT and FCS Auto shocks and they fit great! PRT was just a lil tight fitting in the rear a-arm and had to zip tie the wire on the front FCS shocks. Hardest part for me was aligning the subframe to get the new bolts/spacers in.

I welded it myself using three-quarter and half-inch electrical conduit. Had some pieces left over at work and had an electrician bend the three-quarter for me. Then I welded some 16 gauge 90 to the bottom and attached it to my original side rails. I’m ghetto like that. Lol

@@thetrampskateguy I got a 2011 Outback and lifted it 2 inches, put a 5klbs winch on it and put some good perfume to make it enticing. Works great, but started to hear a rattle when hitting holes in e certain way, not all the time, and it sounds like a lose tube. It's in back left side. I'll keep looking.

Just curious, this many years later: how has it all held up? Did you notice a big drop in MPG? Any issues pop up over the longer term that you didn't foresee? Also, is yours a manual or CVT?
@thetrampskateguy9 ай бұрын
Hi Zack, I didn’t really notice a change in MPG. I’m sure it affected it by a few miles but I didn’t really calculate it. As far as handling and drivability I love it. So much better than stock because I like to go off-road. I do have a little noise somewhere in the suspension like something is loose but I can’t find it yet and I just bought a Tacoma so now I don’t care. Eventually, I will get on there and try to figure it out.

Hey what’s up Daniel. Yes this will work on the 2012 Impreza. I think this kit would work on 2012 to 2016 models. It really wasn’t that bad as long as you have the tools. Definitely use jackstands as you will need to hold the rear end when 2” spacers.
