Excellent video as always Edu. 👍🏻 Loving some of your techniques. I’m blessed with what I can use. As a musical theatre technician. I have lots of lights to choose from. But... nothing beats a desk lamp and an LED bulb 💡

I would love to see a teardown of some of the nicer lights. Like the lume cubes especially. Many creators on KZbin have had expensive lume cubes burn out and quit working after a short amount of time, which have been quickly replaced by the company only to burn out again. They are pushing these lights too hard, and driving them way past the specifications on the datasheet for the actual LED dies. They were pushing too many watts for the cooling solution used. I would just love to see someone with some electrical knowledge tear them down and do a diagnostic on them. Love your channel and your work!

Hi, could you tell me which type of light I should use to get a proper white background of an object. I like you said have been using lots of lights but it is still not brilliant white. What time of light should I use?

Depends on the size of background. If you need bright light pick an ARRI hmi 1.2k or 2k

Flicker is stop motion biggest enemy... always dealing with it, have you ever experienced it?
@Supremehackers6 жыл бұрын
Plz see my channel and help me about stop motion movie
@sotomonte_6 жыл бұрын
When people try to fake stop motion in 3d, or after effects, they add flicker, when they do real stop motion, they try to make it dissapear. Interesting...
@JamesIII6 жыл бұрын
Ok, so there I did get it wrong, I did add flicker as I did shooting accidentally, doh!
@tornadoTKD906 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I see it faintly in some of works at school, even mine. I usually compensate with bad florescent bulbs with a longer exposure time. Keep up with the awesome videos!
@Brixhousedotde6 жыл бұрын
It is a pain in the ass for sure. Also, flicker depends on the level of electricity being used in your surrounding area, doesn't it? Even thought about getting a decoupling capacitor to even the voltage but never done it. I use the GBS deflicker AE plugin to compensate it.
