Kayla!! You need to un-check "Use Prepped Ingredients" on the cooking pop-up so you can directly use ingredients like flour in recipes. I play with Simple Living and Off-the-Grid all the time, so I had the same problem when I got Home Chef Hustle. Pls upvote so she sees this!!

Make sure you have Power and Water set to Store instead of Sell ! Also you can uncheck "Use Prepped Ingredients" to use flour eggs and sugar etc insteead of dough and batter etc

A GREAT TIP is to befriend birds from a Flock of Wild Birds on your lot and ask them for help with the garden, and you don’t have to deal with the bugs on oversized crops ever again. Similarly, if you befriend a rabbit and ask them for help with the garden, they will take care of weeds.

to save your power, take your fridge off the utility and you will acquire more power. It’s the fridge that takes a TON of power. If you keep up with the ice, then none of your food will spoil and you don’t have to do anything to “collect ice” as far as I am aware.

If your sims have enough money you could try out hiring a Ranch Hand and/or a Gardner. That way it would give your sims more time to focus on keeping up the house and increasing other skill levels

if you watch from 3:50-3:53 you can see its the dog that is causing the hairballs! It shows a hairbrush indicator.. If you go into cas the dog should have like hairy trait! which means the "hairballs" are from the dog. Just brush them daily to lessen that! :) I mentioned this last time, not sure if you seen the comment so mentioning it again :)

This series is very fun to watch because it's actually _challenging_ unlike anything else in the Sims 4. Let's face it: Sims 4 is the easiest game of the franchise, everything gets too repetitive too quick, that's why EA is so eager to attract new players because the old ones are already bored af.

I builded a farm for "all" animals, and the gameplay is so fun. I locked the house so dogs and stray cats hang outside. I have a chicken and bunny area too and mini goats and sheep loove the chickens. Baby horse hangs with a lama and a cow. Stray cats bring a lot of feather piles and selling those makes really good money! You can also host animal ranch days 😊

You could become friends with birds in a tree somewhere in Henford On Bagley, cause then you can buy a tree off your own, and then the birds do the weeding for u (if you're friends with them). It's just because it looks like u have some problems with the weeding...

Whenever I do something like this I end up making a club for gardening/taking care of animals and it helps So Much. Just make sure you harvest everything before starting or they'll take your crops/eggs

Hey, so I play the same thing right now and if you keep having problems with the power it might unfortunately be a bug. Check if you have the saving function on like everybody tells you, but if you still are in the negative, even without any appliances that are connected to the power net, you will need to activate the lot trait that gives you power.

I'm not positive, but I think that if you get a treadmill and fully upgrade it, you can use the treadmill to generate electricity. Can't remember what level handiness you need for the upgrades. Just a thought :-) Loving this mini-series so far! Eco Lifestyle, Tiny Living and Cottage Living are some of my favorites. I often use the simple living lot trait, as well. (Edit: I believe you have to have Eco Lifestyle in order for this work.)
