The METS winning Wednesday’s Game really Helped their Travel Schedule because if they Had Lost Game-4 and Won Friday’s Game-5 in Philly, they would have had to Fly to California on Saturday for Game-1 of the NLCS Sunday. Now the METS can Fly-Out to California on Friday and Prepare for either the PADRES or DODGERS at a nearby location from SD/LA would be a Great Benefit.

As a Mets fan, I feel Lindor has only been clutch this year. Honestly, I was down on him, particularly last year when he hit the quietest 30-100 in baseball history, after we were out of contention. Agree Diaz going out in the 9th with his control issues right now wasnt smart. Peterson only threw 20 pitches and he was attacking the zone. Bring in diaz as a last resort when you need a big strikeout. Too many free passes can kill ya in a 3 run game

The 2000 Mets were the worst World Series team in my lifetime. Piazza did to the 2000 Mets what Elway did to all those Broncos teams in the 80s. Their outfield was Benny Agbayani, Jay Payton & Timo Perez. They never had a chance.

@@soramirez5473 Their infield was great in 1999. In 2000 Ordonez missed the whole second half, Bordick was the SS and he checked out after his first game with the Mets. He was a zero. And Olerud was no longer at 1B it was Todd Zeile who was mediocre at everything on his best day. Robin Ventura was nowhere near what he was the year before at the bat or with the glove. The only player they had in the infield was Alfonzo, who was tremendous. Piazza had to have some help. As for the pitching staff, it was good. That's all. Just good. Hampton and Leiter weren't stiffs. But they weren't world beaters.

I watch the I'll play your yankees For 8 innings in all of the games And watched our. closer Choke And lose multiple games the Mets should have won. our closer, Benitez was a choke artist against good teams. Mike Piazza beat Yankee pitching up badly and Clemens should have been ejected for throwing the broken bat at Mike. Benitez was the only negative difference in the series! He blew 2 9th inn Ing saves in games the Mets had outplayed the Yankees. The Yankees lineup didn't outplayed the Mets except in one game. That's the truth about the subway series!
