He is Collector of tales from the dark, a Ghoulish host to the children of the night, and the Keeper of the Longbox of the Damned. He is Moarte and no one is safe from him...except maybe Mark

Interesting use of previous story arcs to explain how Moarte got involved in all this. Mechakara finally resurfacing and as theorized, he's turned himself into a cyborg. Kinda hope he finds a way to become a full robot again, he was really cool as one since the beginning.

Agreed! Mysterio's entire gimmick is that he's a trickster, an illusionist, a manipulator! He should be a MAJOR threat to Spidey, possibly even one of those characters like Kingpin or Dr. Doom who have branched out to threatening other Marvel characters.

I freaking love Moarte, and hoo boy did this do him Justice like I never realized he needed. An all powerful ghoul with a thirst for horror, but at the end of the day all he really wants to do is share his fun with kids in a harmless little web show. I wouldn’t mind an origin story for him. I’d also like to see more of Harvey, if anything to hear Luis sing some more, and Linksano.

Can I just say I love what you did with Muarte here? He's a great character, and I've always loved characters that are primarily just kind of goofy secondaries, but every once in a while, you get the idea that they're actually insanely powerful. And I love that you had him explain "I'm not doing this for you, I'm not doing this out of some sense of a threat, I was annoyed and I dealt with it; but I'm NOT going to be a deus ex machina for your stories." It lets him continue to be his usual self without your stories constantly begging the question "oh, is Vice/MechaKara/etc back? Why not just call Muarte?" Solid storytelling man.

I hope this doesn't sound too mean, but Mirror Margaret's stilted line delivery, to me, really emphasizes her backstory. Because she hasn't actively done much since Mirrorkara was defeated, it feels like she's been rehearsing lines like those a bit because they sound cool. Even if she means it, it feels like she doesn't actually believe it. Just trying to convince herself. I doubt this is actually the case, but that's how it feels like to me. Because she's just a girl, like LInkara says. Not a god. And her line delivery kinda shows that.

I remember speaking to Tom DeFalco at a book signing in 1995 in Manhattan. I asked a few questions about Doc Ock's death, and who came up with the new, female Doc Ock. (Whistle) I often thought that Moarte may have been more than just a undead custodian of a cursed artefact. So seeing a glimpse of his terrible power first-hand was quite an eye-opener. Making him, in my opinion far more terrifying than the spirit of the dark magic gun. One was a bully lashing out at the world for a hollow sense of satisfaction. While the other is an unfathomable creature of death who could likely inflict acts of horror beyond comprehension. All with a big Cheshire cat grin plastered on his face. Though this new lore will be quite useful for fanfic writers, so that's a plus. And hopefully, our comic crusader will avoid seeking the ghoul's assistance like his life depended on it. As death would probably be a kindness compared to what Moarte would do to him. P.S Great speech on the loud but fleeting power of evil faces the quiet but enduring strength of good.
