I thought it was an homage to both Freddy Krueger and the Peanuts’ Great Pumpkin and was stumped at which horror movie killer had a yellow sweater; but then a few minutes later I realised that the yellow sweater guy was an expy of Charlie Brown, the red shirt with black stripes guy was an expy of Linus and that Charlie was pissed off at Blue Devil for stealing the Little Red-Haired Girl that Charlie Brown has a crush on and was always talking about.
