You were not there. The song was written within 3 days, so I do not know what demo you were hearing. They co wote the song raised over 63 million dollars to save human lives. It is awful to come on here talking this way. It was about saving lives, not being petty. I loved Michael also, but this was so wrong of you to write this. Certainly you did not stay within the guidelines of being respectful. I challenge you to post this mystery demo. Lionel and Michael wrote the lyrics together. How many people have you helped save?

Jideofor Okoye, a huge number of people helped create the huge success for the song. Harry Bellefonte initially suggested the song to Lionel Richie in the first place who then called Quincy Jones about producing it. Quincy Jones then suggested asking other music stars to participate. None declined to be involved.

Lionel forgot to tell that: · Prince donates a complete song for the album. · Prince hated the song "We Are The World". · Prince wasn't a divo or egocentric contrary to what people think. He was, in words of the musicians and artists he worked with, generous and unselfish, he always let his individual members in the band shine, he gave a lot of songs to other artists for free and he always had his feet in the ground and donates to schools, Black Lives Matters and a lot of organisations. He wasn't mean and there are hundreds of testimonials against Lionel's words.

See, how much of the money raised by the song actually went to help feed hungry children? That's what you wanna ask about Prince not showing up. Because there is that line in the song "Hello" that goes - we're against hungry children, our record stands tall, but there's just as much hunger here at home."

A K, FALSE. It was Harry Bellefonte that suggested the song in the first place. Lionel Richie wrote the music and the initial lyrics which Michael Jackson completed. MJ didn't know squat about writing music, nor could he read any.
@lisahays9226
@lisahays9226 2 жыл бұрын
@@sergeantmasson3669 he came up with the melody and the lyrics they all said he did and he confirms it in his demo. What is false is lionel did co write the song although the final version sounds so much like what MJ Already did you can see there were changes made. Both ways sounds good though had they left it the other way it would have been the same effect. What I dont understand is why ppl dont like to give him credit for the parts he create. His muscianns and everyone involved with him always said he beat boxed the instruments or gave them the sound while they found the chords. Being able to read music is a skill but not one necessary to play instruments or come up with sounds. He didnt want to read music but he knew his way around the studio and could play some instruments . He just didnt play. He even won a deposition solely based upon his ability to replicate what he had on tape. Sounds like your mind is made up but harry was actually the one who suggested them write the song but he had nothing to do with the process. And as far as you saying he knew nothing about writing music. Did you forget he wrote the entire bad album?according to what quincy told siedah and others MJ had recorded over a 100 songs and had yet to record a song by any other artist. Though eventually he did record other peoples songs it did not start out that way. Actually 2 of my favorite songs that he sang were songs that he did not write. For all times, come together, human nature also... there are also smgs that he wrote himself that just hits different like the earth song, best of joy, they dont care about us and DS

The real truth is Prince did not like Michael Jackson, especially after the humiliation he went through live on stage with MJ and James Brown in 1981. Prince's guitar wasn't working at all and a lamp post (fake) toppled over on top of him after he grabbed it to leave the stage. MJ was also a bit more popular than Prince.
