I can watch your videos all day, so well done! Are you taking requests? If so, I'd love to see an explanation as to why saturated fat increases LDL levels more than other types of dietary fats?

I'd like to see something where you explain the energy loss ratios of converting carbs into fat, and fat into fat. As far as I know, the body loses about 30% of the energy from carbs to convert it to fat. Where when converting ingested fat, to stored fat, it's only about 5%. I heard this somewhere and I'm trying to find more info on it.

Thanks for your great videos. Is it possible for you to do a series on signal transduction pathways

Liver glycogen stores are always full as triglycerides breakdown keep replenishing it. You always make triglycerides after a meal and you always burn later. Exception is post workout meal as all the glucose is taken up by muscle if you really precisely programme the intake and dont go overboard.

Excellent. I have a doubt though. For a insulin resistance individual both Type 1 and 2, processes that involves insulin, wont take place? Secondly, adipose tissue create their own TAGs with the help of the direct supply of glucose from bloodstream without the help of insulin? Considering insulin resistance, especially type 2 which is due to lifestyle, he/she would gain excess weight if my second question/assumption is right?

is it more accurate to say lipogenesis is triggered high intake of unhealthy simple sugars? instead of just carbohydrates? correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think someone would get non-alcoholic fatty liver disease from eating lots of broccoli
@prateekbhardwaj87982 жыл бұрын
It may seem counter-intuitive but "carbohydrates" is more accurate. You see it's true that you won't get a fatty liver from brocolli, why because u simply can't eat that many brocolli's. You might face other problems before a fatty liver. However, hypothetically, brocolli can cause a fatty liver as it does have carbs, just in such low amounts that u have to die eating brocolli, quite literally. Simple sugars, are readily assimilated, and when in excess are stored as glycogen. So too much of it *will* cause fatty liver as it's easier to reach that threshold of lipogenesis where all excess sugar is being stored as fat. So u will get a fatty liver sooner with simple sugars

@@prateekbhardwaj8798 strange because for the past 30 years that I've been putting people asleep to give them anesthesia for surgery I really don't take care of people that eat too much broccoli. the fat that people eat is the fat that people wear and that's much more likely to get stored as fatty liver& visceral fat not from De novo lipogenesis from carbohydrates yes you will use your simple carbohydrates and store the fat and when you eat fatty oily fish and all the other fatty meats and all the fat in animal cell membranes. Google animal cell membrane images and you will see the bilipid animal cell membrane which is loaded with cholesterol also. that's the fat you eat the fat you store the same fat that gives you heart attack Strokes Etc yes simple sugars simple carbohydrates processed food are toxic but the increase in chronic diseases is not from too much fruit too many carrots too much broccoli rice potatoes or corn. You get mad cow disease from eating cows bird flu swine flu from eating chicken and pigs bacon AIDS virus and Ebola virus came from people eating bush meat [ monkeys] covid virus came from people eating bats pangolins or again some other Animal product. Milk cheese has a lot of saturated fat basically cheese and butter are salted saturated fat again I don't take care of patients from eating unprocessed plants.

Lots of broccoli does not equate to excess of glucose in the first place. So you basically answered your own question
