Liquid culture from dried mushrooms

An easy way to Observe Mycelium, great for Teachers and Students. I use Sterile Technique for growing mushrooms but for the sake of Viewing Mycelium and the simplicity for those who don't have sterile equipment they can have some fun too. Give it a go see for yourself... Boil kettle add 1 table spoon of corn syrup to 1Lt water, allow to cool. Then add a piece of dried mushroom or drop in a spore print. Pop the lid on and see what happens. Corn syrup feeds the mycelium and maintains clarity for better viewing.
