🔥LISS CARDIO WORKOUT//Low Intensity Steady State Cardio//Easy Cardio for Weight Loss
LISS CARDIO WORKOUT 4 Rounds
My Amazfit 5 Band registered 3700 steps and 300 calories burned with this workout.
MY TIPS FOR HIGHER CALORIE BURN with my workouts:
1. START PERFORMING THE EXERCISE DURING THE 10 SEC OF REST. This way you won`t waste any time during the 30 sec of work, thus maximizing your calorie burn. Testing the exercise beforehand will also keep your heart rate up, and will help you make the best out of the 30 seconds of work (you`ll be able to perform the exercises correctly, at higher capacity, with an increased number of reps).
2. WALK THROUGH THE 20 SECONDS OFF, while waiting for the NEXT ROUND to START. This way your heart rate will stay elevated and you will continue to burn calories.
3. GO FASTER, if you feel some exercises are too easy for you.
4.CHANGE OR ADAPT ANY EXERCISE if you feel it would help you BURN MORE CALORIES. Change any exercise that feels uncomfortable to you; this will help you perform more reps, and burn more calories, while remaining injury free. Also, add extra arm movements if you find some of the exercises to be too static. More movement equals higher burn.
5. ENGAGE YOUR MUSCLES. Make sure you actually engage your muscles during the workout. I often mimic different arm, shoulders, back and chest exercises that are usually performed with dumbbells. Make sure you squeeze those muscles and actually engage them, for a higher calorie burn and muscle tone.
6. SQUEEZE YOUR ABS. I've made a habit out of keeping my core tight whenever I exercise. I feel it gives me better abs, more control, and a higher burn.
7. GO THROUGH THE FULL RANGE OF MOTION. Don't slack during the workout. Although these are all easy exercises, focusing on each move and going through the full range of motion can highly increase the caloric burn. Raise your arms higher, if you can. Go lower into a squat, if possible. Add a bounce to some of the moves, when you feel up to it. Engage more muscles when performing the exercises. The more involved you are, the more calories you will burn.
8. FIND A BREATHING PATTERN that allows you to perform the exercises comfortably, without the need for too many breaks.
9. ADD WEIGHTS. Ankle weights, wrist weights, small dumbbells, or weighted vests will make your workout more challenging, helping you burn more calories. Even wearing a small backpack can make a difference.
10. PRESS THE REPLAY BUTTON AND DO IT AGAING! :)))

Thanks so much for this workout! I am a 39yo working mom of two, and have just started 30-30-30 (30g of protein and 30min of LISS cardio with 30 minutes of waking up), and am SO IMPRESSED with this workout! I got 3000 steps before 6am and burned almost 300 cal! I love this workout (and your other LISS) because I sweat and they challenge my brain with the coordination and also help to improve my mobility. Thanks so much!

Brilliant. I have bad knees so jumping is difficult. This is great. Most cardio items are tough on the knees. And low intensity goes only on abs and planks 😟 but you are great.

I havent worked out in almost 6 years.. did this for the first time today.. could do for 10 mins 50 seconds only but i wont give up. Will continue doing it and build my strength to do it for the entire 30 minutes. Thank you for this workout.. 😊

After a 1 day break.. came back today 16 mins 32 secs, I was slower today..felt a bit disheartened.. felt like my body is too weak may be..wondering how long it'll take for me to be able to the entire 30 mins..but I wont give up. My body may be weak right now but not me.

Love your comment! You can actually improve every time you re-do one! You can go faster and add reps, you can go through the full range of motion and focus on tightening the activated muscles, you can add small weights, you can replace some of the walking with light jogging... I got carried away! :))

@@BurpeeGirlLiss yes so my idea is to workout everyday if possible. I saw a video of a guy who said that if you workout do LISS that way you workout longer than HIIT. so with LISS you can workout 5/6/7 days a week without feeling the stress on your body unlike with HIIT you will workout 2/3 days. So in the longer run, a person doing LISS has far more hours and calories burnt and faster recovery than a HIIT person. Recently saw this, so trying to adapt to this mode. That’s when I discovered your channel as well. 😇.

@@ayethegreat4997 That's actually correct. I was shocked to see that I burn just as much with one hour of LISS as I do with one of HIIT. I never realized HIIT was burning that little... Don't get me wrong! I love hiit workouts! But if you're going for calorie burn, the constant strain is not worth it. Today is my second day of hiit (trying to get back to it) and everything hurts...

It won't get rid of muscle! And it won't bulk your muscles either! If you have adipose tissue above the muscle, it can help to thin that layer, and help you slim down!
