This song was in dedication to a young Dear who sadly passed away a few years ago. RIP Leysan. Dimash invited her to one of his concerts but sadly passed away before the concert date. Dimash did visit her in the hospital though. I'm sure he was also thinking of others who have passed.

This song showcases his ability to convey introspection and anguish in equal measure. One of DIMASH'S prime themes is longing. And it's secondary version- pining. Here he is pining for a love lost and reflecting on the transient nature of time. No need for all the DIMASH "bells & whistles". His understanding of HOW to convey each song's intention, theme, context and meaning is unsurpassed. Another sublime yet subtle masterpiece. And TY for another sublime reaction. Your expertise and teaching ability are exceptional. I always look forward to your insights.

Thanks for analyzing why we are feeling and crying to this song's exquisite beauty--all the many enchanting aspects! I'm not sure I've ever heard a violin duet like this before and I'm awestruck every time I hear it, how they work together. I hope you saw the lyrics, making the song so emotional and meaningful. I thought the Chinese words were a lovely addition, for the dears benefit that were attending.

Great reaction, Carl. This was such an emotional song. Like what other Dears had commented, it was dedicated to a Dear who passed away. The lyrics is full of love and hope and basically singing that the world will get better, to have hope and embrace happiness. To hold his hands and be happy. 😭 I cry each time I listen to it. Dimash is a master at emotional delivery of all his songs. Simply love Dimash ❤😊

Thank you for sharing your expertise with us, much appreciated :) I believe that the story is that Dimash invited a fan to concert and the fan was very ill with cancer. The fan passed away before being able to attend the concert. This is what I read. Clearly it is very emotional and personal to him. Absolutely gorgeous singing with the guitar and the piano and then that violin is stunning. I love that he sang in Kazakh and then switched to Mandarin in the last part for his Chinese audience.

Thank you so much for your reaction to this beautiful song! I found your channel through Dimash and I thoroughly enjoy your heartfelt reactions to him and other artists. To me, this song is a masterpiece I will always hold dear (pun 100% intended) so I feel the need to write a paragraph or two: Angel Love perfectly showcases both the unparalleled beauty of Dimash's artistry and the depth of his humanity. The arrangement of the song feels delicate yet exquisite, the lyrics are poetic yet painful, and his voice - strong yet vulnerable - weaves everything together to convey so painfully and beautifully the human experience of love and loss. This is what the song communicates to me personally - there is of course no correct interpretation of it, as is the beauty of art. His dedication to the art and craft of music, his endlessly colorful voice, and the humanity so clearly evident in all that he does enable him to express the depth and complexity of human emotion with complete authenticity and true beauty. For me, he manages like no other to express what it feels like to be human - to live and love, to change and be changed by the people and the world around us - and in that experience, he manages to find (hope for) love, unity, and peace. And for this experience, I will always be grateful. This is how I feel listening to and watching the performance of "Angel Love" - and your reaction to it. Thank you for your authenticity, for your kindness, and for the wonderful ways in which you describe Dimash's artistry. With only the best of wishes, Katja

This premiere performance was dedicated to a fan who was unable to attend his concert because she was in the hospital dying of stage 4 cancer. He visited her in the hospital and she died shortly afterwards. Dimash had heard the song maybe six months ago and two weeks before the gala finale of Singer 2024. Renat Gaissin, the composer, asked Kalkamin Sarin, a well-known Kazakh poet) to write lyrics. Dimash requested words that would express a “pure” love, and then named the song “Angel Love” to reflect that. ❤🎉❤

Dear Carl, thank you so much for your heartfelt reaction. Will you check out two of Dimash’s most recent duets in China? These duets were performed on a TV show called “Our Song.” One is with Huang Xiaoyun, a young singer with bel canto training, and the other is with Gong Linna, an experienced Chinese fusion singer. I would like to focus on the second duet because it is similar to “Angel Love.” This duet is called “成为诗人,” or “Becoming a Poet” in English. If you don’t mind, I would like to share the backstory of this song, which was explained on the show. Here is an English translation of a segment of the episode: Gong Linna: “The song we are about to sing is a story about a girl called Bao Zhenni (Jenny Bao in English.) From the moment she was born, she could only move one finger [the rest of her body was paralyzed.] She had an illness that contracted the muscles, and the doctors said that she would only live to be four years old. But this year, Bao Zhenni is already over 20 years old! In her 20th year, she published a collection of poems [about 100 by now.] She has always been writing poems to help herself live on. She has such a life force. So, “Becoming a Poet” is the next song that Dimash and I are going to sing.” In a backstage interview, Gong Linna shared more information. Gong Linna: “Before, I met this very talented young female singer and collaborated with her. I sent her Bao Zhenni’s poems, and that singer (Yu Zhen) wrote this song. I have heard one of Dimash’s own compositions, called “The Story of One Sky,” and it’s a song about world peace and love. I told him about Bao Zhenni’s story, and Dimash immediately agreed [to sing it.] He was also especially moved by this song.” (After the performance) Host: “Teacher Gong, may I ask what is making you shed tears right now?” Gong Linna: “You know, for most of us, breathing is a very simple thing. Without breath, there is no life. But for Bao Zhenni, a ventilator machine is required, and without this machine or without medication, it is likely that her life will end. And this is something that many of us may rarely experience around us. Because Bao Zhenni has this condition, she writes poems everyday. She told me that writing poems is the instinct of her life.” Hopefully, this translation gives you an idea of what the song “Becoming a Poet” is about. Like “Angel Love,” it is dedicated to people suffering from medical conditions who are often overlooked by the public. I think it is a very meaningful song, and I hope you will make a reaction to it as well as to Dimash's incredible duet with Huang Xiaoyun. Thank you once again, and have a wonderful day ❤

I nearly forgot! Here is an English translation of the lyrics of the song. I think that even without understanding the words, their performance is incredibly powerful and heart wrenching, but it is still incomplete without knowing the lyrics of the song. The afternoon sun casts its light through a glass window, Landing partially on a young girl’s desk, It is warm and bright. Flattened paper awaits the pen, To write a story of growth or of dreams, Or just a quick note about a mischievous cat. Her poems tell of the freedom and poverty of her 20th year, She writes about blooming roses, withering but not fading. Laboring to breathe. Become a poet, A poet’s soul lives forever, As free as effortless breathing, Living in words. A tragedy is not a tragedy- It is a nurturing force. Becoming a poet, My soul also lives forever, My breathing is also free and effortless, I am no longer myself- Perhaps I am a scene of fireworks or stars If fate decides to play a trick on you, And chooses to bind death to you, The spine that was meant to support you can no longer be trusted, The ventilator machine has become a household appliance. Exacerbating the body frozen by ice and snow, Using the opportunity to defile every beautiful word, Relentlessly testing and provoking to see whether the desire for life is unshakeable. Will you compromise, surrender, or despair? Perhaps you will resist with all your might To flee from death’s kiss, Fear is more attentive, more sincere than courage. This is her life, Being tricked, her body is trapped, Fate oppresses her, but she refuses to accept it. She will not relent, she will keep fighting, She must bloom, she must grow up, she must become a poet. Becoming a poet, My soul also lives forever, My breathing is also free and effortless, I am no longer myself- Perhaps I am a scene of fireworks or stars.

I think that in clasic music head voice doesn't exist, that's falseto, termin head voice when singer sing with woman voice, are in pop and amateur music
@k.vn.k3 ай бұрын
Yes, head voice exists in classical music and is an important concept, particularly in vocal training. In classical singing, the voice is often categorized into different registers, and the head voice is one of them. Head voice refers to a vocal register where the sound resonates primarily in the head and sinuses. It's typically used for higher pitches, allowing singers to produce clear, strong notes without straining their voices. This register contrasts with the chest voice where the sound resonates more in the chest and is used for lower pitches. In classical music, particularly in opera and choral singing, mastering the transition between head voice and chest voice (often called voix mixte when blended smoothly) is crucial. Singers often work extensively on developing and refining their head voice to achieve a seamless, balanced sound throughout their range. The difference between head voice and falsetto is subtle but important, especially in classical singing. • Head voice is a more connected, powerful, and controlled register that is important in classical singing. • Falsetto is a lighter, breathier register that can be useful for reaching high notes but often lacks the fullness and dynamic range of the head voice. In classical music, particularly for men, the head voice is preferred over falsetto for achieving a strong, resonant sound at higher pitches.
