I think you look at this on one dimension without any thought of the other dimensions. First, she got home before both her dad and her husband, and said her husband would be home in two hours, suggesting he has a longer shift than her. Second, they built her a house, which she seemingly did not help with, probably didn't pay for, and she is now whining on tiktok about having to do the easiest part of the job. A smaller project done for fun or if it's like one piece of furniture, but a free house? The least you can do is clean it.
@InfiniteAnvil
@InfiniteAnvil 2 жыл бұрын
Since he and his dad were able to make all that mess between her leaving for work and her getting back, my assumption would be that he has a much *shorter* shift than she does, since he had time to do all that before going to work. Also, this clearly isn't must-do work since they're already living in the house. It's just hobbyist stuff at this point.

“My dad was not my favorite individual in my life” 4:44. Explains a whole lot, daddy issues in men turn into putting women on a giant pedestal. Her cleaning up a little considering they are building her a freaking house is not that much too ask. However, if you think even that is unreasonable, than why the heck would she post this on social media instead of simply explaining that they should also help with the cleaning or discussing it like an adult? The amount of mental gymnastics you are going through to justify this woman’s behavior is honestly insane to me. And no, before you make an argument that I am an incel, I am happily in a relationship.

^THIS I mean even if I was too tired at the moment to clean up and stuff I'd politely talk about that with my bf bc we're all human beings and I know he'd understand that I'm exhausted after work etc so I could help to eg clean up tomorrow. If you're an adult you should learn to negotiate with your partner instead of crying and moaning ohh poor me like a little bitch online to get some pity from strangers. It's astonishing how she made that whole big deal out of simple issue which could be calmly discussed with her partner in private. Nothing can excuse her pathetic behavior imo

I understand that the work that was given to her was a bit too much but she could've handled the situation way better than what she had done. Ofc cleaning up will take a long time because you need to keep the tools, clean the floor, throw the trash but she could've at least tried to do something. Help your husband and FIL out a little. It's not that hard to throw the trash out and sweep the floor. The rest can be done by them the next day. My point is, she should've just cleaned the fucking floor or something. Ofc she is tired after work, everybody is tired after work. But at least help out a little. Are the men doing those shit not tired too? Seriously, y'all can't see the problem here. Can't y'all understand the mindset of helping someone out to lighten up their load? Y'all just saying that mess is not her problem. Ofc it's not!!! but at least fucking help out. Cleaning a little would help the husband and FIL clean up less the next day. Does she not have a heart kind enough to reduce work for cleaning up? Seriously, you can't even see the problem clearly.
@Br1ckabrac

Honestly, that's not even the problem here. The problem is that it's between them as a married couple, not between them and tik tok. We really don't know enough about them to say anything about either of them or this situation. If you can't properly Communicate with your SO, or vice versa, your relationship won't work out. And theirs didn't, as we now know. Everybody's taking the wrong lesson away from this

Firstly, insults need to stop. Attacking someone for their choice adds nothing to the conversation. Secondly, you assumed he's voluntarily not having sex. Why? When did he say that? Now let's get into the video. Did she offer to help them in building the house? Given the way the text was framed, I assume she did. Even if not, they are building her ass an entire house. She can't help in the slightest? And i doubt they are doing this without jobs since that takes significant time and investment. You come in with this, she should take a shit on the floor because someone asked her to do something? Are you kidding? Like that would help the situation. You would never ask the queen to do something for you huh? Bull. This is horrible commentary. Besides, maybe you should watch the video first. Make thoughts, then watch it again in this style.

The simp energy is strong in this one 🤮 The husband and father in-law were literally building a house that she was going to live in as well. It's really selfish and insensitive to think that she didn't need to help in the process of her own home. These weren't contractors that she had paid to do all the work and it isn't incel speech to want your wife to help in the home when you're literally BUILDING a house. The wife's labor is not worth more than anyone else's and she doesn't get to take advantage of men doing labor that is much more complex than being a hairdresser. Wanting women to just help and contribute in a marriage and a home is not some evil patriarchal concept.

The problem here is not the dude but the woman and her laziness and tbys is right abt the woman in all regards. This video proves shes doing far less work in this case than her husband. Dont forget even after building the house with his dad which is backbreaking , he had to go to his job for a longer shift than hers and also expect him to clean up the house. The only work she did was at hairdressing, for a house they will both live in . And dont tell me that she also gives half the rent. Ok then he also pays half the rent, do half the work too, either u should have helped him build the house or clean afterwards. U are comparing that long shifts of hair dressing are tiring. They arent tiring as building a house in no way or another and on top of that going to ur regular job. Besides the woman like a pussy posted their household problem on sm without even talking to her husband if he would help her like tbys pointed out. He even cleaned the house next morning without taking his wife's help. @@sativasmith8431 never did I insinuate that she was forced or threatened, nor that she shouldn't expect a mess during construction. You're putting words in my mouth. The issue she's having is with the request and the context it's being made, hence why I infer he's a demanding husband and also has low self awareness apparently. I don't need to know him personally to make my own judgements, I'll never meet him and if I do I'll never know it. I don't even know his name or face. Thinking about it more, the only real problem I see with this situation is that she publicly humiliated her husband after her clip went viral which is what lead to the divorce apparently. I take back what I said about the husband being a poor communicator, because it honestly feels like this whole situation could have been avoided if either of them knew how to talk to each other like adults. I can't imagine her little episode came about out of the blue though, seems like an unhealthy relationship in general. Seems like they'd be better off without each other. but if "why not" is you argument for why someone shouldn't object having to clean someone's mess after coming home from work, that's weak. Miss me with that "but they're working for free, and it's HER house" guilt tripping dogshit framing as well. It's their own mess, and it's their own house too. If they need it cleaned like they say, they should do it themselves and not need it from someone else who lives there. That construction mess was bananas. My husband and father-in-law also get up to home improvement projects while I'm at work, but if they left a huge mess and expected me to swoop in and single handedly clean up after them, I'd be pretty pissed too. Reasonable thing would be to say "we finished up but didn't have the time/energy to clean up, so watch out - if you felt like moving a few tools into the garage or something though that would be great!" Or even like Jake said, requesting *assistance* with the cleanup, rather than issuing a mandate for a BIG unplanned-for task list. Also, this dude's rant about cooking paired with his Japanese language enthusiasm makes me think that he imagines that once someone learns to cook they wind up like characters in Food Wars. Let me tell you, man, there are plenty of tasks I know how to do very well with great attention to detail - and I still hate doing them (ironing, for instance - I try to avoid having to iron anything through what I buy and then how I launder things, and then wait months and do a ton of ironing at once rather than try to do it regularly). Some people are like that with cooking, and are fine with basic dishes because the cost/benefit doesn't pay off for them to, say, buy and prep a ton of individual ingredients to make something you consume in under 30 minutes. It's not just about aptitude, it's about motivation too! Me knowing how to do something well does not mean I will be highly motivated to go do it.

@@sharpman8407 the scale of the work and the benefit one gets from it is not really the problem here, though - it's the communication and lack of respect/understanding. Does that mean I get to order them around to do things for me on short notice, regardless of what housework and childcare they've been up to all day? Do I have less right to do this if I only contribute 75%, or 50%? Where is the line at which I have to respect their time? I think that I have to respect their time no matter what, because they're my partner, not a slave or a robot. In this women's situation, frankly, they all have communication to work on. This response is nothing but ad hominem attacks with no actual substance. You lose the non debate when you dont have any actual arguments. I wish folks actually researched their targets and came with hard hitting responses, instead of lazily attacking things like voice, height, sexual orientation and sexual prowess. And this comment section isn't much better, sadly. It's even more sad that you guys likely think you are the "good guys" here for degrading a "misogynist", without any proof of actual misogyny. Kinda like how you call the guy an incel without knowing his sexual history. If this is the feminist argument against Think, then the guy has it easy.

It's lovely when people who deeply love each other get married as a celebration of that love and show of commitment - where later they may renew their vows for the same reason. That's the fairytale portion of marriage, that some are able to achieve, while plenty get pressured into it by others (knows someone who married an abusive man because he got her pregnant and both parents pressured them to get married).

Actual Jake: first time watching your channel. I have to express that am not impressed with your work. Disappointed to be frank. So far you’ve demonstrated a clear biased perspective and have intentionally gone out of your way to not understand. Your review is the equivalent of a simp supporting this wife’s bad behavior while simultaneously covering your ears talking over the narrator shouting “lalalalalalla” Despite having over 16000 views on this video with 500 likes. That’s about a 3% like ratio. I’m curious to see your dislike count. Right from the gate you try to shame him on his voice (something he can’t change) while he’s criticriticizing her bad behavior (something that can be changed) My favorite part of your video is when you called her out to not say “win” for being toxic, then immediately supporting her after she says it.

Right? It’s amazing that this isn’t part of the conversation with people like TBYS. It ultimately comes down to “cleaning is a woman’s job” and that’s it. I hate it. Like, I don’t like dumping stuff on people that I don’t want to do. I would feel like a total ass doing this to this woman.
