Haters will be haters. The internet is full of them. The true Pentaholics will never throw negativity/hate at you. Never. We Pentaholics really enjoy seeing others be amazed, and in awe as we were seeing them for the first time. As others have said, just be you. I hope you have a great set of Holidays. My wife never really like "Little Drummer Boy" but she loves PTX's version. The won there 2nd Grammy for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy". I look forward to seeing your reaction to that one.

Something I think we millions of Pentaholics are truly aware of but the general public doesn’t quite grasp, is that Pentatonix isn’t just singing a cover (or even an original). No, they are CREATING art! Yes, they are genius artists not just singers, and each of their creations is a miniature masterpiece! Despite increasing fame I can’t get it out of my mind that they’re still under appreciated. They’ve won three Grammys, but they should have won more-“Hallelujah” comes to mind. And despite the nine years of experience since the Sing Off, there has been no decrease in the artistry of PTX. Everything has been of extremely high quality- from the AvI era through to The Matt era today! Incredible growth! Kirstie is blowing me away today; she belts just like the boys now! Following this band has been nothing but a joy! Long live PTX!

Avi. (He surprised me) Too-too good. We have the serious Barry in this video, all professional like. Do you see what I mean about the background in the video? Imagine them singing this song, meaningful and why we have Christmas in the first place, standing in front of bright Christmas colors with gifts and ornaments? Takes away from the lyrics. This was a perfect background... Unlike "Did you hear what I hear" w/Whitney. Nostalgia is right, Barry. The simplicity of the video, the powerful lyrics, it all takes me back. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm 56 years old. I've been a music fan all my life. I am professionally trained on piano. I am self-taught on guitar, bass guitar, harmonica and trumpet. I played in a jazz big band in college and moonlighted in a rock band for a few years at the beginning of my career in the TV production industry. I have thousands of records in my collection spanning all genres of music. I have NEVER in all of that time come across a musical act who can touch all gamuts of my emotions in EVERY song the way that Pentatonix does. I mentioned in an earlier comment that they are from my home state of Texas, yet I didn't find out about them until the pandemic was under way. I'm REALLY embarrassed by that...but while I was late to the party, I'm very much here now. And I am proud to call myself a Pentaholic!! Their new single/video drops today. I'll be heading to their channel to check it out right after I finish typing this comment!

21.- I used to tell my grandfather: “Tan doesn't watch; look, he is lying down, it seems that nothing matters to him!”, and he answered me smiling (another lesson): “Take a good look at him, look…”. And yes, if you looked at him closely, you would see constant, very slight movements of his ears, small turns in his eyes, sometimes a muscle would tense... Tan lay down, but he didn't sleep. When my grandfather understood that I had already seen all this, he continued to tell me: “He seems calm, resting and at peace, but you have already seen: he is an intelligent being! He listens to what is happening, analyzes his surroundings and is willing to defend us at any time if he sees danger, but does not get upset. He knows how to distinguish what is important. Learn from Tan: listen and don't bark; look and analyze, study the situation, understand your environment. And after that, decide. Do not use your strength for things that are not worth it; don't waste them, because there will be other times when you really need them".

Ana! Merry Christmas. Love this vision of Tan. I love watching dogs do this. When they look around like that you can see their “eyebrows” move. The quiet alertness is calming. We can all learn from this. Yes. Why do we do often chase what we need to just let be. Expending energy on things better left alone. When I said intruders. I did mean the 4 legged kind. They are such great protectors. If they went running after every little thing they may miss something that is actually important. Another good lesson. Take care! Hope you are able to spend some of the holidays with your family. ❤❤ Thank you for sharing your life experiences in this beautiful way.

Hola! Being emotional is being human and vice versa, as simple as that What I love the most of this amazing group is their ability to transform (many times, upgrade) and deliver a very well known song with a "something else", adding their modern twists on it but being very respectful with the original feeling of the song. It's obvious they are incredible talented singers, but their arrangements choices are even more amazing. I'm very glad to have found them and be witness of their growth and evolution. Many of their songs are part of my regular music collection nowadays. See you in the next one

The Little Dummer Boy was written in 1941 by Katherine K. Davis. If curious look her up. She taught me piano lessons when I was a child. Yes, I am old. She was an amazing musician. Pentatonix remind me of all the Christmas Carols we used to sing around the town Christmas tree. In a magical year the snow would start falling and the happy children would go to bed knowing we would have a brilliant snowy Christmas. So long ago and so far away. Pentatonix Carols are THE BEST.

First Noel and Silent Night are good ones. Most of them are good and fairly traditional. I like the duet in this between the baritone, Scott, and the bass. Avi. Barry, it's perfectly understandable to have an emotional reaction to music. All music gives us some type of emotional reaction, whether we show it or hide and internalize it. You (and myself) are some of the lucky ones who allow ourselves to throw all of our emotion into listening or singing certain songs and music styles. Be unapologetically you! Always. P.s. when you look directly into the camera during a song, it's awesome to read the emotion being portrayed in your eyes. 😊
