Yeah, after starting Star Citizen about a year ago, this game feels very lackluster to me. While there’s probably more objectives to Starfield right now, SC feels like an actual Galactic society, with being an MMO it feels much more engaging and like there’s more to see and do. My biggest fear was Starfield just being Fallout with a fresh coat of paint, and I was right. They’re just not doing anything that hasn’t been done before.

The game is fun I actually enjoy surveying planets and exploring which is the least exciting activity. The fact that your ship is basically a loading screen traverser leaves a lot to be desired... I know it's technically difficult but still.

I just think my interests have moved away from these types of games. Looks alright but I wasn't really excited. The writing really bores me and there's just a loop of shooting and collecting everything. Enjoyed your stream though always a good watch

@@ryanmadej6694 so don’t. But the amount of details and thought put into Star Citizen is insane. It’s still not even close to completion, but it just feels alive and like an actual breathing society. Starfield feels empty and sad, and uninspired. There’s still so much Star Citizen can do, while Starfield feel like it dug it’s own grave a bit.

The actual point of big budget visual medium is to allow the creator to convey their vision to the audience as closely to their intent as possible within the budget and time constraints. This game focuses on worldbuilding over simulation and executes that vision wonderfully

bro I was SO disappointed when I found out exploring planets is as simple as a cut scene and a loading screen it COMPLETELY turned me off to the game immediately. playing NMS and coming to this feels like a genuine down grade and its a shame because I was So looking forward to playing this game. sadly not anymore. I do hope that they implement that free exploration into the game later on but I'm not holding my breath on it

Though i liked V as a main character, i disliked Vs main storyline. way too hectic for an rpg that lets you explore at your own pace. Vs story would've benefitted from a naughty dog style of storytelling with really neatly crafted setpieces. Starfield is not that broken though. It'sthe least buggy launch of any BGS game. Its easy to enjoy SF for what it is, but my biggest disappointment is that its really nothing new 😆 it doesnt innovate in any form and even regressed gameplay by heavily relying on fasttraveling and loading screens. mediocre at bet just like the game studio that made it

Jack, if you want to make full use of your new 4070 Ti with this game then you might want to try Puredark's DLSS mod. He's got a new version (behind a Patreon paywall for now) that includes the Frame Generation feature which basically doubles your FPS. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnq2eJeFlKxrmrs I've been using this mod on my own MSI 4070 Ti, and I'm getting 100+ fps on 1440p Ultra as compared to 50-60 previously, and even streaming the game works perfectly still (tried it on a Discord stream) (And yes, it's insane that there are already mods for this game before it is even officially out :v )

It’s fallout 4: 2, explore (after 40 loading screens) get a fetch quest, shoot mindless NPCs with unresponsive gunplay, the dialogue is so boring and poorly written that I wouldn’t be surprised if that was also procedurally generated, and i have absolutely no investment in the story because the simple act of progressing to a new “planet” takes ages and it’s supported by boring one note characters that have terrible dialogue.
