Hello from Northern California, I grew up around the Central Valley of California so I was around agriculture a lot, however I never had an appreciation for it until I started playing Farming Simulator and ran across your channel. Your content is excellent and you bring a real down to earth look at the real life farmer, God bless all that you do, look forward to more content in the future.

You talked about baling hay, when you do 3rd crop and stack it in the hay mow of the barn you will be blowing the leaves out of your nose for a week or so. And when you are sweating because it is 100 degrees and the tin roof is right beside you to sizzle against because you are stacking to the roof it adds another layer of fun.

Okay what is wrong with me! I spent the whole day harrowing, in a JD 5100, my hands are still tingling from 12 hours of work.. I just got out of the shower, which BTW was in the driveway with the wife spraying me down because of the amount of crud on me. So what do I do? Grab a late dinner and sit down and watch the best farm ever... You guys are the best!

Good work guys! Love to see ya running a combine down the fields of montana. One day i want tho do the same because its a dream to run big machinery like the combine. Because of your hard work we can eat most people think there food is coming from the lokal supermarket but its the farmer ho takes car of that. Nick Welker do not forget working on a farm is not a job but something you do with love and we call that a passion. Regards, Martin Koolmees

Hey man, i don't mind the sound - It gives some realism and context. Is there not lower grain loss on more modern Combines? I'm no expert but surely as the grain is threshed and dumped in the tank behind you, if you had a fan or stream of air (tuned correctly) it would push out the chaff from the grains? Just an idea that seems too obvious for it not have been considered as it reduces the parameters you have to balance? Or is it just not worth it and a certain % tolerance of chaff is included per ton / litre of grain and so additional effort just doesn't pay off?

Nick. Watching your stream you mentioned a trillion grain berries. You need to cut roughly a million bushel to have a trillion berries. That kind of puts the national debt in prospective.

Lol 31:13 1,000 a acre is €2,156 a hectare. Here in the netherlands it costs around €40,000 a hectare. We have 130 hectare here it costs €5,200,000 where you guys live only €280,280 if we have two years with a good milk price we could buy all our land in two years (but we dont get a good price and we still have this expensive bullshit here) : (

Bij ons is ongveer 40 000 het minium waarvoor je land zou kunnen krijgen. Maar soms word het idd wel heel duurder verkocht. 40 000 is nog knetter veel vergeleken met daar.
