@Konstantin: In regards to the Orthodox group that was being screened by police. The Neturai Karta folks are peaceful when protesting, but are known for supporting anti-Israeli violence. It's a group that is hard to work your head around, as they're pretty much the Mormons of Judaism, that believe the Jews are still exiled from Israel a curse that may only be broken by the return of the Messiah. They believed this pre-Holocaust and those views have remained unchanged. Whilst not sure what to think of that myself, I certainly understand Jews could take issue with the group. They would never set a foot in Israel / Gaza though, as their belief specifically is that Jews are exiled from the land. But like I pointed out before, they are oddly anti and Jewish community that isn't as Orthodox and Anti-Zionist as them, which makes them odd in enemies of Judaists, sorta. As they propagate the idea of Jews being cursed, having to live accordingly, and therefore somewhat resemble the practical continuation of it. Kind of like a Catholic doom-spelling secular group, you know who might hate them the most as well.

Not a solution, and certainly not a final one, but an idea: Israel should talk with its neighbours regarding Hamas and Palestine. They share common ground here - in the sense that no one, absolutely no one, wants terrorist refugees or militants in their country. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and even Iran for dogs sake, want nothing to do with Palestinians from what I have seen. True, they seem happy enough to let Hamas have at the Jews but stop short of actively supporting them or taking on any refugees. If “my enemy’s enemy is my friend” is true then Israel could, in principle, at least open dialogue with its neighbours to discuss the mad dog on their mutual doorstep and what the hell they can all do about it. And who knows where that spirit of cooperation might lead from there?

That's what a protest used to mean, shame the left corrupts every word they co-opt. I agree with your sentiment though. However I don't like having to change vocabulary ever puddin year or so, just because Joe Schmuck is easily tired of getting berated. I rebuke such efforts gaining ground and dispel any co-opting of words and their meaning at every turn, going by word etymology rather than post-modernization of them. The fatigue is understandable sadly, I do not think my passion is a healthy example for people to follow, as it requires fervour and a voice that is hard to drown out with noise.

You know seeing some of the interviews they need to get out a bit more not be so insular . Despite being educated well read they were not that nuanced and seemed remarkably despite being so overwhelmingly powerful in society playing the victim. @@SugarSugarKent Malcolm X, was more my kind of guy. MLK, was important for the civil rights movement in Israel, however his support for Israel, was either naive at best or ignorant at worst. Israel only exists a as proxy stooge for the West, it has no more right to exist, than any other settlor colonial project. Its initial UK and Europe support ( out of their collective guilt over their treatment of Jews and their preference for the peoples of Palestine to make way for the Zionists) and now the US billions of aid and support every year, is actually the only reason they exist. As for democracy, what democracy occupies lands for over 55 years, ( against international law) brutalises the people and is now engaging in a Genocide, and continues to overrun the WestBank with criminal settlors. Its OK, some people have foresight and are the right side of history, sadly you will be found out. And its sad now that people around the world are charging the Jews, with Nazi like callousness. Problem is, people wouldn't say it, if the Zionists weren't giving them clear examples of this callousness.

@@valkyriaKelly Really, well I read the UN and other sources, who are accusing Israel of committing a genocide. If that means I'm parroting, guilty as charged. So for my education please explain to me what you think is going on in Gaza, and for us both, no parroting these talking points : - Hamas is to blame for Israel bombing, there not, Israel is. - Hamas are using human shields, there not, and if they were that makes Israel even more culpable. - This conflict didn't start on Oct 7 - No 40 babies were beheaded - There were not 1,200 civilian casualties killed on Oct 7, more like 850 ( which I agree was barbaric and a war crime) - And even then it is starting to become clearer that the IDF have been responsible for some of the death of Israelis, under the Hannibal directive, On Oct 7. etc etc But to be honest, I hope those people attended both Marches. I mean I am against anti-semitism, but realise that Israel has a corrupt right wing government ( who are showing signs of fascistic tendencies) and who already govern as an Apartheid state, who is hell bent on a biblical like wrath on the people of Gaza, and has murdered mainly women and children to date. @@Big_Yin Did I say that Ireland did, no, I mean I didn’t even make an analogy between the two conflicts. I’m well aware that the conflicts of Ireland, and Palestine are different, however they share a common bond of shared oppression. I mean they differ, England subjecated Ireland for centuries, denied them thier language , exploited, them, even starved 2milion to death in the so called Great Irish famine of the 1840s I mean the English were cruel, sadistic and ruthless rulers, what was I thinking. Gaza, is the result of the 1947 Nakbar, where the Jews murdered and massacred thousands and forced 750,000 out of Palestine, their home, the took Gaza in 1967 and in 2006 took control and created Gaza, which on the 6th of October was an open air prison. And now are attempting to Genocide Gaza. Your right, there is a difference, no wonder Hamas wants to eliminate Israel. Lucky for us Israel, the land of milk and honey, where life is precious and they don’t practice an ethnocentric state, continue to complete a second Nakbar, leaving them then able to gradually take the West Bank. So me thinks that while you think Hamas wants Palestine free from the river to the sea, because of their charter, funny thing is Israel are actually making good thier desire to eliminate Palestinians from the territories, you know from the river to the sea. Oh the Irony. Thanks for setting me straight, Bozo.

As a Hebrew speaker, I'd like to translate the songs you heard: "Am Yisrael Chai, Od Avinu Chai...The Jewish people live, our ancestors live on." Also, "Kol haOlam kulo...The world is a narrow bridge, and the essence is not to be afraid." Now, contrast this content with the genocidal screams and hate mongering at the Palestinian gatherings....

Well it is easy to single happy songs when you have nukes, don't live in the second largest open air prison in the world . Bibi today said hevhas 3 goals , the last one is for "gaza to never be a threat to israel ever again" . How is he planning to do that, because the only way is he either kills all palestinians in Gaza or annects Gaza and throws out all palestinians. I remember what people in the streets of tel aviv say everytime Bibi provoked an intifada. Kill all the palestinians, chase them out to other arabic countries, as if there was no difference. "Arabs have so many countries, why can't the jews have one" . My aunt daughter died at a check point in 1995 , with the ambulance on the other side ,when she had complications giving birth. Did the soldiers (women by the way) go to court? Of course not I lost 47 family members when Israeli armed militants butchered the camps in Jordania. Since 1941 my family lost over 300 people to jews, we lost land that was ours for centuries, we were never pro Hamas , because we were never very religious and we know Syrians are not our friends. By jews are floating around as if they were Saints. When one compares data of jews and palestinians killed , and only directly by the other side, sincecthe 1968 palestinians lost 11,4 people for 1 jew.

If you doubt that then get a copy of the Koran in Arabic and have someone translate the verses that demands this of Muslims. ***) **************************************** Trica Rivera, reports in her article: Principal decries teachers’ ‘week of solidarity with Palestine’, November 28/23, that the Australian Education Union’s Victoria Branch is “encouraging teachers to wear Palestinian shirts and badges and, to invite Palestinian advocates on to their campuses to show solidarity Gaza”. A few days earlier, first in Melbourne, on Thursday, and the next day in Sydney, students took time off from school to stage protest rallies to highlight dreadful carnage occurring in Gaza/Palestine. Apropos to that, what’s ensued since the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] moved into the Strip, to inflict retaliatory measures in reaction to the heinous barbarism that Hamas militia forces initiated on October 7, is indisputably “disproportionate by a very significant degree”. However, it is totally beyond comprehension to think for solitary second Hamas’ strategists weren’t 110% certain that Israel’s rejoinder to what its forces horrifically inflicted upon unarmed Israelis, wouldn’t be met with the ferocious response which transpired? Therefore, the only possible conclusion to draw from events is Hamas’ military strategists willfully launched that macabre attack on October 7, knowing full well what the outcome would be. Essentially, it was a calculated gamble by them to sacrifice the lives of many thousands of Gazans. There are two aspects as to why Hamas implemented this abhorrent strategy. First, they knew it was absolutely certain that the millions of Muslims currently residing in Western countries (which accrues to 27 million - whether they be immigrants or their offspring) would culminate with them rallying en masse to stage pro-Palestinian, and anti-Western protests. The second trait of its plan was with banking upon gaining the deluded sympathy of bleeding-heart, and leftoid liberals in Western spheres, by way of manipulating them with seeing an ending parade of suffering in Gaza. Well, the latter facet has certainly come to fruition, and this prevails with the extremely leftist Teachers Federation of Victoria, calling for there to be “a week of solidarity with Palestine”. Yet, on the other hand, the Teacher’s Federation as, indeed, it has been with Islamic organisations, and all of their Muslim adherents around the world, don’t condemn the extreme barbarism that Hamas perpetrated with callously massacred between 1200, and 1400 unarmed people on October 7. Of course, that should come as no surprise to anyone when taking into vivid account that, none of these same entities have ever ONCE unreservedly condemned the Muslims fundamentalists who willfully murdered 530 people during the Reign of Terror in Britain and western Europe, from March 7, 2004, and running all the way through to the murder of the local MP, Sir David Amess, on October 15, 2021. Mehreen Faruqi, who is the Greens Senator for NSW, and a Muslim, was front-and-centre at both of the pro-Palestinian/anti-Western rallies held last week in Melbourne and Sydney. Within three days of the October 7 massacre, most of the high-profile Muslim organisations across Australia, have either remained mute or have called for the eradication of the state of Israel. Quite obviously, in order to be able to achieve such a goal would indubitably require exterminating every Jew residing in Israel. However, it’s not just the Jews living in Israel that Muslims hate, because the irrefutable reality is that the Koran calls upon all of its adherents to either convert non-believers to the faith or, to eradicate them. On Nov 24, in the front-page article in The Australian (again by Tricia Rivera) titled: ‘Chilling words of Aussie schoolkid: Hamas ‘doing a good job’. The entity spewing this venom is a 16-year-old girl, who is clad with the usual rag over its head. She’s reported to have bristled with glee about the Jews who were butchered by Hamas militia. Similarly, at every one of the pro-Palestinian/anti-Western rallies that has been conducted in a score of major cities in Western nations (culminating with there being a total of 96 held across North America, Britain, Europe, and Australia, as of Sunday, Nov 26), the vile rhetoric spewed out by the 16-year-old in Melbourne calling for the eradication of Jews from Israel, has been perpetually parroted by members of the most unassimilable ethnoreligious group in existence. Now, well over 5 decades on from Enoch Powell, and Jean Raspail, the author of ‘Camp of the Saints’, which was published in 1972, warning us of the grave dangers that would beset the Western nations, which have facilitated mass intakes of Muslims, is now coming to bear upon these societies. But, in spite of it becoming indisputably clear that Muslims pose a severe threat to the social cohesiveness of the West, politicians in all of them have no intention of sealing their borders from allowing more to inundate their societies.

He gets arrested for assaulting one of his own followers. He gets arrested for a fight between football fans. The fascists are also known for involvement with the police intelligence agencies. Who knows what or why that he gets arrested now maybe he wants the attention. How does a high ranking cop know where he is and mobilizes 50 cops to arrest him with a journalist looking on. People who are provocateurs often raise more questions than they answer. We had similar problems with Stalinists and ultra lefts like Antifa. You have someone like the Polish anti communist show up with a sign and then you have to escort him away to the cops because some Stalinists want to throw a few punches at him which would just give the cops a reason to break up the demonstration.

@@sararichman6612 in fact my bias, is for the lives of the innocent Israelis and Gazans. What I don’t understand is the need to have these anti-semitism protests, I mean they are really giving cover for the Zionists. Why don’t they be honest and have anti-Israel protest marches. Probably because it’s easier to present a protest about the amorphous rise in anti-semitism, than be transparent and support a corrupt, genocidal Israel government. I can call out/condemn the atrocities on innocent civilians perpetrated by Hamas, and condemn the carpet bombing of Gaza, with the IDF having the scantest regard for innocent civilians. My take is you don’t answer a war crime, by attempting to Genocide the people of Gaza, and the World knows it. I mean even the US , who are the worlds largest terrorist since WW2 , having committed some of the largest war crimes, ( Kissengers Cambodia campaign comes to mind ) are shocked by the open calling of genocide and ethnic cleansing by the highest level of offices in the Israel ruling party. Even the US empire are beginning to pressure Israel to you know, turn down the slaughter, not for any concern for Gazans, just for the optics and of course Biden’s 2024 Presidential run. Today, the ground battle will be fought by the Israelis alone, but it is our task to support them collectively in the fight against anti-Semitism to the best of our abilities. Hopefully, after this war, enough Palestinians will emerge who will seek to assert their interests not through terror but through cooperation. This will be a tremendous task for Israel, and it should be our duty to support such voices within Palestinian society.

Really heartening to see genuine and low-key calm Brits and others who are shocked and appalled by what they've seen at the pro-Palestinian protests and want to stand up against hatred, anger and extremism. Je ziet ook weer duidelijk het verschil in contrast tussen Pro-palestijnen of Pro-Israël. Ik ben zelf van Antwerpen, wij hebben ook een Joodse gemeenschap. Echt nooit last met hun.

Tricia Rivera, reports in her article: Principal decries teachers’ ‘week of solidarity with Palestine’, November 28/23, that the Australian Education Union’s Victoria Branch is “encouraging teachers to wear Palestinian shirts and badges and, to invite Palestinian advocates on to their campuses to show solidarity Gaza”. It feels both frightening and bizarre to see such brazen racism on streets I know so well. Like people in the video I feel the need to point out that, even though this scares me, I am not Jewish. Not sure why I feel that need - many of those people on Cable Street in the 30s weren't Jewish either, they just knew right from wrong.

Which of course has been iterated as it’s intents, over and over by Israeli officials. So you’re talking point of defensive war is ridiculous. My history is pretty good, and absolutely fascinated by the Holocaust. And seen many photographs and video of proud Nazis rounding up the Jews for their slaughter. And it’s strikes me the videos,TikTok’s of Israeli Soliders proudly and with no empathy levelling Gaza, singing songs of genocide.
