He has just stated that there was no injury or damage to the nail. As the nail was not struck. I also work in the hospitals and from my knowledge. If he has a heamatoma under the nail. Then this would conclude a object would have struck the nail causing a heamatoma /bruise underneath the nail. Get him off the stand

Unless i'm mistaken, I think the doctor said he would have expected heamatoma from the impact, and not seeing any proves the injury itself didn't happen the way depp claimed. Personally I think he was misrepresenting depp's version of events though, and basing his analysis on assumptions that are quite flimsy.

An injury like his finger injury can absolutely happen with a glass bottle it happened to my son with a glass Yoo-hoo chocolate milk bottle, he had to have surgery and everything and my sons fingernail wasn’t damaged at all but there was ligament and bone damage with NO glass in his finger, I worked and was working on the exact day my son came into the children’s ER and was rushed to surgery. It infuriates me the amount of speculation that goes on during this testimony, idc how long he’s been a doctor he’s clueless if he thinks this exact injury can’t happen from a glass bottle, also their next witness is a whole gem quite a bit to unpack with him 😂
