Never toss old beans before cooking a batch in the pressure cooker. You will be surprised. Cook for one and a half hours. More if needed. I have used 30 year old beans and they were fine.

I've been following y'all since the beginning and appreciate you so much. I'm in NE Wisconsin now for a few years. The last few winters have been mild but a few years ago we had about a week of 40 to 50 below were snowed in. My daughter and I made it by curling up together with tons of blankets and such. EVERYTHING froze in the house. Even our water bottles were frozen solid and we had to hold them in our hands or put them under our blankets to melt a bit to drink. We ONLY got up to use the bathroom. We try to eat very healthy as we are both celiac, but was so thankful to have just simple tuna, veggies, fruit and such canned to have. We learned a lot about where we were prepared and where we were lacking. Also... most medications are fine after the expiration and will slowly lose potency but be aware that both erythromycin and aspirin can become toxic and should not be used past the date.

I am living in the north of Germany and you have sent me some of your books maybe 3 years ago. With a little book dedication and I am sooooooo proud of these books. The book "Penny pinching mum" is so good, your "Dining on a dime Vol. 1 in spiral binding is a money saver on its own. Thank you guys from my heart.❤

Finally had a chance to finish watching. Being prepared is SO important. We (northern Arizona) have wild fires all the time so as soon as I hear about it I gather everything I want/need to evacuate. Thankfully they have missed us so far(very close though). We have food and water for the winter blizzards. We have had, a few times, where the water was undrinkable so always have water just in case. My lovely husband has been on board with a lot more stockpiling/preparedness since the pandemic. We even have a whole house generator that we can ration what we run (dual gas and propane). Life is getting even crazier with this regime. And yes; can tell you lost weight and love the hair. Thanks for all you help everyone with. I usually learn something. 😁
