My father and his brother were in WWII and his brother died fighting the Nazis. I was in the Navy. My first orders were for a sub, but they decided to send me with the aircraft division. I grew up doing practice duck and cover drills in school and my father watched as much footage on tv of the war, hoping to get a glimpse of his brother.
