The VA gave me a Shingles shot. I ended up 35 days later being diagnosed with Guillain Barr’s Syndrome. I was already 80%from a previous claims. I still suffer daily. Do I have a case to get rated 100%

My VSO said I could not submit a submittal claim on a claim that was rated wrong and low. After agument he put it in . He also said I could not input a denied sleep Apnea claim that I input wrong and I want to input as part of Pact Act. Can I input again correctly

I filed the claim in 1995 for conditions that are now considered presumptive under the pact act? Can I file a supplemental claim for backpay even if it was 29 years ago?

I left service in 1990. I originally got a 10% rating for collapsed lungs x 5, and multiple surgeries while in the Navy. They also ignored that I required a hernia operation in 1986. While ignoring a Hiatal hernia in 1986 that has still not been corrected. In 2000 rating was increased to 30%. In 2008 I was diagnosed with DDD, causing neuropathy and radiculopathy, no service connection granted. I got 10% rating for tinnitus in 2016. In 2020 I was rated 20% rating for scars etc. Then I was awarded a 70% MDD claim. In 2022 I was approved for TDIU, but they removed my rating for scars and residuals, putting my rating at 90%. Being paid at 100% TDIU. I sometimes need help with daily routine. It isn't every day. I don't want to poke the bear. Radiculopathy is getting worse. Private doctor says it is as likely as not that DDD is caused by/ or made worse by working in the Main Engineering space. I was exposed to Halon 1301, AFFF and PKP.

I was rated at 90% a few months ago, my VA Rep said not to apply again. Not sure why?

They listed the car accident as the cause and then added both physical and mental disabilities as secondary to the accident for everything. This was listed in the mid 90s though. Things might have changed.

Is it true that Tinnitus has a higher rating than 10% rating?

The standard rating for recurrent tinnitus is 10 percent, and this rating applies whether your condition affects both or just one ear.
