For several years now, people had read and heard reports of the terrible things that ISIS, Boko Haram, the Taliban, and Al-Qaeda did to those that they hated because of their religious beliefs or for other reasons. Beheading them, crucifying them, burning them alive, putting them in cages and then putting the cages in water to drown them, and throwing them off of high buildings were some of the things that they did. But, what was done to Margaret was even more brutal and shocking than all of this. The newspaper article said that as Margaret was walking home from a church service that she had just attended on the night of February 1, a car pulled up beside her, and two men jumped out and forced her into the back seat of the car before she could even scream for help, one witness reported. She was then taken to a remote location, where the real horror took place. It seems that the people who abducted Margaret injected her with a drug that did not cause her to lose consciousness, but it did render her unable to move. Then by some as-yet-to-be-discovered method, the abductors proceeded to literally rip her arms and legs off of her body. They did not cut, saw, or chop off her limbs; they tore them off. Then, they did the same with her head, after first crushing it, the newspaper article reported. Some who read the article said, “Whatever animals did this should be caught and have the same thing done to them!” And others were heard to say things like, “This type of story should never be printed! We don’t need to read things like this! It is just too disgusting and too disturbing!” they said. It was later found out that many who had read the story were traumatized to the point that they had to seek professional help and counseling. (The above story is a creation of my imagination, but it does describe what happens on a daily basis in this nation. It happens to human beings who can feel pain. It happens to the most innocent of us all. We call it abortion.)

Savita Halappanavar. She died because she was refused an abortion in Ireland even though she had maternal sepsis. Women can and have died because of pregnancy complications and the fetus is too young to live outside the womb. You get a dead mother and child rather than a live mother.
