Nah, he is confirmed to be in the real world causing problems. He is out and about. Beside, i wouldn't call one unpleasant experience 10k years after the heresy a "personal hell." He was there in contemplation the entire time before Corvus came knocking, and while he is extremely strong, Lorgar showed to have some insane powers of his own.

Lorgar canonically doesn't give a shit about his own survival. On Isstvan V he dueled Corvus purely to save his sons. He did this knowing the prophecy where Corvus kills him.

I love Sanguinius. He is a man weighed down by how beloved he is by those around him. He redeemed a Legion destined for total eradicatation by pledging himself to his sons and instantly gains their adoration and love. And those who love greatly also hate greatly.

I think that might be the Alpha Legion instead. Like out of all the Legions the only one I could see stealing 20 cakes (that's two tens, and that's terrible) just cuz is the Alpha Legion. Brother Alpharius 1: "Brother Alpharius, why exactly are we robbing this bank?" Brother Alpharius 2: "I do not know, Brother Alpharius. I would assume we either need the funds to advance some undisclosed future plot, or perhaps merely to serve as a distraction for the local Arbites while our other Brothers Alpharius enact the true scheme." Brother Alpharius 1: "That seems somewhat vague and largely unhelpful, Brother Alpharius." Brother Alpharius 2: "I am aware, Brother Alpharius, but chin up because I have heard from Brother Alpharius that your plan to make it rain snakes on that planet of psykers has been selected from the random drawing." I hope you see now why the Alpha Legion are the most Saturday morning cartoon villainish of the Legions.

@@josephflynn9792 I have to agree. When I read the books I always viewed Argel as an Astartes who always did his best to follow his Primarchs direction, for better or worse. His soul also wasn't eaten by Chaos, it was shared with a demon. I think, if Argel wanted out of it, and Sanguinius could, he would've expelled the demon and saved him, in a perfect world. Knowing Argels loyalty to Lorgar, and the sacrifices that Argel felt responsibility for, though, that wouldn't have happened.

🔴 Loyalist Angron, pure metal, a rock of valor worthy for the Emperor. Sanguinius and Blood Angels with Angron and World Eaters, forming a great brotherhood! Angron is saved and raised by the village of the city of Desh'ea and then presents himself as a gladiator planning its conquest and liberation, neither he nor Oenomaus receive the butcher's nails but they are still forced to fight with Angron who gives an honorable death to his dear mentor, then (recruiting more villagers and soldiers thanks to his psychic power) in the last battle the Emperor decides to send the World Eaters to defend Angron and his warriors (recognizing potential new forces for his XII Legion) and subsequently, with all medical science, heal the heads of the surviving men. A good example is Vladus Barca himself (practically the loyalist version of Angron). And the World Eaters choose to repaint parts of themselves red to honor the title (and above all the sacrifice) of their father: the Red Angel. Another good possibility is this. Oenomaus rules House Thal'kyr of Desh'ea, then after hearing about the boy named Angron, raised first by wolves and then by villagers, he decides to recruit him among his warriors, seeing him as their hope. Angron thus grows well becoming a just adult, in a reborn city with a large army of strong warriors, successfully leading his valiant soldiers (being a psyker), with the title Red Angel, against the tyrants (witnessing the tragic but honorable death of his father figure in the last battle), ultimately becoming the Warrior King, powerful ruler of all Nuceria. Some time after the planet's pacification Angron meets the Emperor challenging him to a long duel, this time voluntarily embracing his place as son, Primarch and father of the XII Legion of War Wolves (World Eaters), officially making Nuceria their homeworld. Or maybe even this! All the cities of Nuceria are governed by several Warrior Kings (with a valiant warrior spirit, fighting against the tyranny of bloody Beastmen), who over time see the rise of the wolf Angron Thal'kyr as a sign of a worthy ruler (and future worthy Primarch)! A psyker soul like Sanguinius! Angron also lived alongside ferocious predators, the wild Wolves of Nuceria (hard-skinned beasts), before being taken by the people of the village. And just like the Blood Angels with the Bulls of Baal, the Rock (Dark) Angels with the Lions of Caliban and the Space Wolves with the Wolves of Fenris, the World Eaters learn to build a bond with the creatures of their home planet.

The Word Bearers, likely loved the Emperor more than Sanguinous, Before the Heresy... So the fact that they would turn, being self reflective as the Angel is. If he accepted the Deal on Signis Prime, he would have turned himself and his Legion into traitors like them.

He was then forced to kneel in tbe ashes and be humiliated in front of everyone, knowing damn well there were probably still some civilians during the burning. Think another thing to add is that the word bearers didn’t even question there motives BECAUSE of there blind devotion and beliefs they literally saw the horrors and the disgusting rituals and things it takes to ‘Worship’ the chaos gods and did a complete 180 on there belief of Big E going “Sure it’s horrible but these are the TRUE gods and so this is the TRUTH of the universe” My guy you are literally slaughtering your own planets you seeded and turned your back on your entire life’s work your not a faithful servant Your a hypocritical slave that joined the other team because you got butt hurt when daddy called you out for literally doing something he EXPLICITLY TOLD YOU NOT TO DO And out of all that wisdom They never ever bothered to think “Why? Not really. There was the idea that there are "animals" in the warp but not much more. At best you had Magnus who knew there were "things" in there but thought he couldn't be touched.

"They knew damn well what they were doing and chose the path they're on" is, funnily enough, the same reason people who hate or love The Word Bearers irl use to justify either stance. For some, knowingly choosing Chaos despite knowing its true nature and not having their hand forced by manipulation or desperation makes them consciously evil no two ways about it. For others, choosing to abandon previous dogma and work to set the galaxy "right" despite knowing the cost, burden, and danger of the path they were about to walk as well hating the truth of the universe they discovered is exactly what makes them sympathetic and endearing. I feel like the same dynamic would apply in canon if any traitor legion had reason to have anything better than neutral acknowledgement for one another.

Hi Chrono! I want to ask something. So you're Hindu, what faction would you say is the most like Hinduism? Or like any religion for that matter. The Imperial cult is christian thats for sure. Tzeentch and the machine god are preety islamic, of course with less mutstion and amputation but this is possible inspiration and not a direct inspiration like the imperial cult.
