And btw I am the elder guy going to perform while others are kiddos. It's going to be much weird. I don't know how basic or hard it is. Will it suit me.. and will I continue or I would drop. But just gonna try it in a fun way

Thank you so much for this because of you I can perfectly do my kicks since I watched yt tutorials when I joined TKD, I watched this when I was very unfamiliar at the kicks I could straighten my legs so I had advantages, now I'm a yellow belter I'll have my first ever tournament soon and your *how to kick higher videos* and stretching routines helped me a lot 'cause I can do the full splits and the side splits and this is the only sport that I feel like I achieved something but I still need to fix my speed though but I'm absolutely grateful because of you. Keep it up!

Great tutorial! I used to practice Kung Fu, and learned much of the same kicks (my master was a bit questionable about the real art I practiced - it was a mush of Karate and Kung Fu, I think). Your tutorial was about the same kicks I was taught, anyway, your way of teaching is clear, way to the point, and seemed easy. My personal problem was the stretch of my legs = or the height of kicks I could deliver.

Hi! Im about 4 minutes in and have a question. Where am I aiming that first kick on my oppent? I tried the chin, because thats what I thought it looked like, but my toes stopped on his chest, and i am worried of breaking my toes in high-impact usage, as I normally kick with my shins or my heel. Do you have any advice on avoiding this? Thank you, Professor Orion

Every kick here works on a count of 4. You should start every kick here in a proper forward stance - 2 shoulder widths long x 1 shoulder width wide, always with your front leg bent. Always return to the same forward stance if practicing the kicks in this video, and do what she says, not what she does - don't drop the leg. Return to where the 3rd count is before putting back down either behind you in a forward stance or in front remembering the forward leg is always bent. To encourage good stances and stance strength, and fluidity and uniformity of movements, always begin and finish a kick in a well grounded stance. How high you kick is not that important to start with, good form is. Realistically, the people this girl is kicking are each 8' tall. Unless you're planning on going out and fighting giant adults forget showing off like is happening here. She should be more concerned with her own stances and form instead of kicking the sky, and showing off by doing what most of you can't do. And, stretching is the only way to improve flexibility, for when the day comes you want to fight giant adults, stretch every day. Stretching, by definition, means pulling something more than it normally gets pulled, so when stretching the body, it hurts. Take it slowly, warm up, and do it it 2 -3 times a day, every day - especially when you're young. Train hard. ✌️😎
