Although acv is acidic it restores the hairs natural ph. It's ok to leave it in your hair if you want to. The smell goes away after a few hours.

I tried it yesterday with the same exact vinegar brand. $$$. I saw the flakes coming off my scalp as I massage. I was so happy. I did everything you said and I was excited to see you had a tree oil shampoo! i used Selsun blue first then baby shampoo mixed with tree oil and I conditioned after. I allowed my hair to air dry and I tell you I feel 98% relieved. I get an itch here and there but it's not like before. This is a great remedy.

Thanks for this video, this was very helpful. I tried this method but I only used 2ozs of the ACV and sprayed on hair and scalp, massaged for at least 5 minutes, put on plastic cap for an hour, ( I was cleaning) and I rinse it out very well and did a deep condition, putting on a plastic cap for another hour , and my hair loved it!!! I didn't plan on taking over 2hrs for this process, but I'm glad I did! 😁 My hair loves it 👍 #happy hair growth ladies

After I shampoo my hair with a moisture rich shapoo I spray the diluted apple vinagre in my hair and leave it in. Believe me after your hair is dry you will not NOT smell it anymore. I do not know why but that is my experience. It gives your hair volume and shine. And makes your hair grow like crazy.

I use this on my 5 year old daughter. She has very long beautiful hair. I spray all her hair down then apply a deep condition that I found for 98 cents. I leave it in her hair for an hour then wash it off with my favorite shampoo. I do this 2x week. It leaves her hair soft, shiny, and with very little to no knots. I do recommend washing rinsing your hair at least 2x with the shampoo because the smell if the apple cider vinegar stays in your hair.

I am doing this right now. I just took my braids out not too long ago, and my scalp wouldn't stop itching!!! My scalp never does this. So, I am guessing the chemicals from the synthetic hair is all in my scalp causing this. I even did my regular shampoo routine, and it still wouldn't stop that itchy feel!!! As the apple cider sits I am feeling much much better. So good that I don't want to rinse it out, lol. I will do this more often for reelz! Thank you, for the post!

Oh My Goodness...i have Medium Sized Box Braids in right now and i have the same hair type as you. I was scared of the ACV Rinse but i decided to try it...I couldn't wait to try, so i tried it while i have my braids. IT. IS. AMAZING! my haie is shiny, no more buildup that was around the braids, my hair is very moisturized & looks wonderful. I've had these Braids for a little over 3 weeks and my hair started to grow out of them not even a week into having them. Is that good? I usually never wash my hair when i have braids (i only keep them in for a month) & i was told that was bad because of the buildup...well ACV will be what i use from now & on. Maybe 3 times a year, not too much. Thanks So Much! 💕

Your welcome love and welcome to the family :D I love the TJ conditioner its just works so well in my hair!
@scrplyrnva0410 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! I had heard ACV was good for dry, itchy, flaky scalps but hadn't tried it. I usually don't experience an itchy, flaky scalp except in the winter time or here lately, unless it's product related. I've tried just washing my hair with a tea tree shampoo (Bumble and Bumble's Tonic Shampoo) and then using their curly conditioner only on the ends of my hair and not putting any products in my hair to see if it was maybe stress/environment related scalp issues. I still had an itchy scalp the next day, just not as severe. So I'm not desperate for anything. I will be trying the ACV rinse to see if I can get rid of this flaky, itchy scalp. I'm thinking that maybe I need to ditch the B & B shampoo and conditioner all together and find an alternative in case there is something in it that is also bothering my scalp. Sorry for the long winded post...here's my question, would you recommend me washing before or after the rinse? I noticed you did a cowash after the ACV rinse, but could I use the TJ's tea tree shampoo if they have it? I LOVE TJ's by the way, and am a frequent shopper. I'm surprised I haven't come across this before. THANK YOU! I'm def gonna give it a try.
@LiveNaturallyLove10 жыл бұрын
Caitlin Hoffman hey there ! I love long responses lol no need to worry. ACV can help with your scalp problem with a few uses. I doubt that it will be a immediate fix. I think its best if its the first thing you do, so I think you should do it on dry hair then wash your hair with a TeaTree Shampoo. This way nothing will hold back the Rinse from doing it's job and the Tea Tree conditioner and shampoo will help clean and relieve the scalp along with the ACV. If the B&B didn't work for you before try another shampoo, but keep in mind you have to use a product for a while before you begin to see its benefits. I hope that helps!

Try using Aveda Shampure or Scalp benefits shampoo. Using these will eliminate the itch for Majority of Shampoos have Sulfates (which creates the bubbles or lather). I had the same problem as you. Yes, Aveda is a bit pricey but trust me, it will eliminate the itchiness on the scalp and you will be much happier.
