Great footage. A very attractive Luton side given every encouragement by Liverpool’s back four. Lots of highlights but the absolute stand out has to be the substituted goalkeeper having a cigarette in the dugout. Magnificent.

When that match was played I was 18. I can just about remember it but I do very clearly remember the last game of the season against Manchester city. I was listening to it on the radio but I couldn't listen to the last ten minutes so I took a walk. When I got back my dad was happier than I think I've ever seen him. I'm 57 now. However there's never been a dull moment being a Luton supporter!

@@bobsanoldun and to make matters worse the Rags beat Brighton in the FA Cup final Replay. A certain Steve foster with the trade mark head band playing for Brighton. Funny enough Brian Horton and Paul Walsh who was playing for Luton that day. Horton ended up Managing City in the 90s. And signed Paul Walsh for us lol the irony MCFC
