I love Dr Kinross's closing comments about how we need to change our collective as well as our individual behaviors and choices.

Thank you! You are up there with Andrew Huberman, David Sinclair and other giants in the emerging holistic approach to medicine that we desperately need. As an IBS sufferer and a recently graduated medical doctor myself-I can vouch that this way of thinking is the way to go!

Time stamp 20:00. High fat doesn’t cause the problem. Perhaps excess calories do. But carbs and fructose might be a bigger culprit than high fat. I have healed from babesia, Lyme, sibo(methane), Intestinal permeability, histamine intolerance and mast cell activation eating a therapeutic ketogenic diet. Paleo ketogenic diet. I eat mostly meat and fat. It’s difficult to not write a doctor off when he is ignorant to this healing process. Perhaps the argument that we need a diverse microbiome is because we are eating diverse foods. Has any research been done on the microbiome of someone eating paleo ketogenic diet. There are so many testimonials of people who were on their death bed and dying using western medicine but when they went to a carnivore diet they fully recovered and got their life’s back. Dr Jordan Peterson and his family is a great example.

I totally disagree what Dr. felice jacka says on fibre and I totally agree with what Dr. Kinross says about fibre. if you have ibs you have to be really careful about the amount and type of fibre. a simple statement like ' just eat more fibre does not work well for ibs patients. it aggrevates symptoms in many ibs sufferers. thanks so much for sharing your insights, Dr. Kinross. kind regards , miss Reimara

@@reimaravalk7679 thank you!! I will - new season coming very soon!
Well, being a Carnivore I am learning from many people. Carnivore ended my gum disease, hair grew back and grey more or less went away and I am 68. And much more things have happened on the positive side. That being said, Carnivore like any way of eating has its issues. I will not stop Carnivore but I am modifying it to include a healthier gut microbiome and for a time I will introduce a few foods and prebiotics to see where that takes me. I call it my year Carnivore maintenance cycle starting with a 5 day fast for autophagy.
