Some views taken on the nth East line around Seymour and Tallarook on Sat 29/12/12. Trains shown are the morning Shepparton passenger service with N473, a 12-645E powered V/line unit, 2 x Sprinters on a local service ex Seymour.
Two 1950's built ex Victorian railways B Class are also shown on a ballast train from Benalla. The B's are fitted with 16-567's, and were built by Clyde Engineering in 1952-53, with some of the surviving members who never got the A Class conversion, are still in regular daily service. B61 is owned by Southern Shorthaul Rail, while B65 is painted in a special livery advertising Auscision Models ( a local model train company ) and is owned by CFCLA (Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia ). The pair are in charge of a ballast being run for ARTC.
Finally 45s1, an ex New South Wales Government Railways 45 class. The class were built in 1962- 63, and are powered by an Alco 12-251C engine. Bringing up the other end of the consists are ex Victorian Railways T Class, numbers T341 and T387. El Zorro are operating the ballast train for the ARTC.
