AHHH YOU ARE IN MY FAVORITE PARK! This place is a gem if you love the western nature of Texas the river is so nice and cold. The hiking is golden, the vibes are high, I would live in that park if I could. If y'all a vibes person, the vibes of the Guadalupe river is giving ancient native vibes. Soo good! And when your there on a clear night the starts are Soo clear. I love it!

This is real, and this how it really is. There’s nothing wrong with starting van life in a brand new van, or RV or a big old camper, if you can afford it, that’s fantastic. But I follow your channel because you took what you had and made it work in a little car and then Stevie and you did what you had to do and now you’ve reached this awesome place. I've been a forest girl all my life... that one weirdo that tried to guilt me into giving myself to him at 12 years old at the campfire while my brother and sister slept in the tent, ('since women at meant to love men' and his daughter was only 6! and they were living secretly in the forest... yuck!) did jade me a little. But I didn't get hurt, and got away from him! (Redwood Forest 1976). I am on guard in the forest, but love it more than beach and desert. It is so good to see you back at living how you want. Fine tuning the new Black Pearl Vehicle is fun to watch. You Go Girl!

It's a Beautiful home! I'm so happy for you and I'm looking forward to watching you build it out. I'll be building out a 1994 Chevy G20 Galdiator van over these Fall and Winter months. If all goes well, I'll move into it sometime next Spring. I'll keep the Toyota Highlander that I've been living in for the past 3 and a half years as a backup home in case there's any serious issues with the van. The park reminds me of the place my Dad and I used to go camping on private ranch land on the Frio river near Leakey, TX (for non-Texans, it's pronounced "Lake-y"). Lots of live oaks, cypress down by the water, limestone cliffs, shallow, clear river. ::sigh:: nostalgia.

I really enjoyed the beautiful park! It's a breath of fresh air content, I mean..everyone is always filming in the pacific NW. I feel like what you miss out on in trees and mountains in Texas, you make up for with the people and the food. And I am a native Texan now living elsewhere..so I get a little homesick. Are you near the 'cave without a name'? Because Maria @ Roaming Reckless managed to get a private tour of the cave just after chit chatting with the owner (?) and mentioning she was a You Tuber, and it was pretty cool! If you haven't seen that video I think it has private cave tour in the title. Anyhow, really loving the new whip! 💕

low clearance will make finding camp spots where you can get away from creeps difficult, ive run into major issues with creeps in the desert trying to talk to me when I park in the low clearance easily accessible spots. the way to seclusion and privacy is higher clearance
