@@Nomadicintrovert in the video you said they bill you by the plate so it's Florida and depends on the highway you choose there's is 95 that have a freaking toll every 1 hours (not literally,but yes) My recommendation for you is stop at amscot by you a toll windshield sticker/ the one that has ezPass and Suncoast... You can load it with 20$ and you good for like a good 2 3 months we'll depending on how often you're going to use the interstate. Best luck 🤞 in Florida

Florida also does bill by plate. Get the Epass when you get there if you are going to be using the toll roads. Saves quite a lot. Many states do bill by plate now. If you go through Georgia on I-75 they are working toward that too, if they haven’t already. We like avoiding the toll roads. We’re in no hurry and prefer the slower roads with no tolls. I love these driving videos. I travel with my dad in his semi truck and trailer and this brings me back all the feels for when I would ride with him and watch the sunrises in whatever state he was in. He's on track to retire next year and it's bitter sweet. Stay safe out there.

I always enjoy your videos, I’m going to be driving to Philadelphia, Pa with my dog for the first time alone and I have anxiety..just thinking about it makes me not want to do it. I don’t know how you travel by yourself, and I tell myself I can do it, but my mind tells me , no you can’t..and my trip is about 30 to 35 hours from Tx. So I’ll be staying overnight somewhere half way. Take care and always stay safe.

Be safe Marilyn. This helps me when I have a long trip to drive, instead of thinking the whole 30 something hours, I break it up. Thinking I have a 10 hour journey isn't as overwhelming to me. When I go 10 I just reset the clock for 10 hours, it helps me. Enjoy your trip, be safe, lots of love, vibes and protection for you let us know how you're doing.

So good to see you. I was a bit worried about you since the past few days we in the NE got hit with artic weather lows. Here in Vermont it was -20 with wind chills at -40 which was too much for the radiator in the historic home my studio apartment sits in. Its ironic because I always thought to myself how I wouldn't like to have to wear a hoodie indoors like you often do but I was inside my apt wearing a wool shrug, eating ramen soup for breakfast, and using my open oven door as an extra heart source! I kept checking for your new video to make sure you were good. Girl, you may be an introvert but now you got thousands of people looking out for you and praying for your wellbeing! Glad to see you heading southwards. This winter is a doozy.

You'll have to invest in a EZ pass reader. It's cheaper in the long run. The EZ reader charges you more. You can always go on line for those states you passed through and see the bill and pay on line. It take about 1to 2 weeks before it appears. But I would check it out in a week. Safe travels.

Hi 👋🏽, I haven't been to New Jersey since I was younger and went to New York. My mom said we landed there, I was 3. I did go through Pennsylvania, on the way to D.C. , you were talking about the hills and the ups and downs. I was just flying through them like it was nothing. I am used to driving in the Western States, Rocky Mountains, Cascades and the Sierra Nevadas. My dad drove my Mom's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Aire from Los Angeles to Detroit in 24 hours. It takes me 3 days to do that drive. I want to also thank you for your service to the country. Be careful and safe.

I’m in Houston, and our tolls have gone that route after COVId. Some of our toll booths were accident prone, so I’m sure they factored that in as well. Pandemic made us realize some of our ways we’re outdated, and there are more convenient options. Tbh, no ppl in the booth helps the flow of traffic!

I live in PA, very close to the turnpike, and yes they fired the toll collectors and now they bill by mail unless you have an EZ Pass. PA is crazy! But so excited that you passed by where I am! Love the skies in your video. So pretty! Thanks for taking us on your adventures!

Be prepared the PA turnpike is pricey. Your bill should be between 150.-200 dollars if you rode straight through and didn’t shortcut through Philly. With EZ Pass it would be under 100. Hi Nomintro! Fun things to do in NYC: Take the Staten Island Ferry - its a beautiful ride that passes the Statue of Liberty, and its super cheap! Take a ride from midtown on the Roosevelt Island Tramway. Another beautiful & very fun ride - super cheap! After your tram ride you can stop at Serendipity 3 for lunch & some frozen hot chocolate. Yes- this is the amazing and magical place where the movie Serendipity was filmed. Just down the street & around the corner is Bloomingdales! If you want to see amazing art from ancient civilations all the way to modern art- you can stop at the MET, the MOMA or Guggenheim, or all three! Also if able, try and squeeze in the Frick Museum to see the largest and most beautiful collection of Fraggonard paintings in the world. In the mood for some amazing Chinese food? Chinatown! Italian food? Little Italy! Be sure to stop for some spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna and cannolis at Ferrara's. Tons of contemporary art galleries in SoHo. You can catch a Broadway show for 1/2 price on same day by picking up your tickets at TKTS in Times Square. If you want to relax and chill overlooking Times Square you can drop into the Marriot Marquis hotel and take the glass elevator up to the 8th floor and stop in for a drink or lunch at the lounge - and make sure to get a window seat- you won't regret it! For a real treat- take a dinner cruise on Batteaux NYC - 3 hours of cruising New York Harbor with a delicious dinner included. This is just scratching the surface- there is so much to do!
